Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa sekolah dasar yang menghadapi tantangan dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an, seperti kesulitan mengingat ayat dengan jangka panjang, memahami tajwid, dan makhrajnya. Diperlukan metode menghafal Al-Qur'an yang dapat menjaga kualitas hafalan secara konsisten. Metode talaqqi adalah metode menghafal dengan guru membacakan ayat Al-Qur'an yang diikuti siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan metode talaqqi di SDIT Iqra Kota Serang, serta mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kualitas hafalan al-qur’an siswa kelas V menggunakan metode talaqqi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Partisipan terdiri atas kepala sekolah, koordinator tahfidz, dan 39 siswa, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode talaqqi dalam program tahfidz dilaksanakan secara terstruktur pada kelas V. Kegiatan tahfidz berlangsung tiga kali seminggu, setiap sesi dimulai dengan pembacaan ta’awudz dan basmallah, dilanjutkan dengan guru membimbing pembacaan ayat yang diikuti oleh siswa. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas hafalan Al-Qur'an siswa kelas V selama satu semester setelah penerapan metode talaqqi. Hal ini terlihat dari kemajuan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan menghafal siswa, yang tercermin dari tingkat tajwid, fashahah, kelancaran, dan pemahaman terhadap ayat-ayat yang dihafal. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan menjadi hambatan dalam mengoptimalkan hasil metode talaqqi. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan agar sekolah meningkatkan durasi program tahfidz. This research is motivated by elementary school students who face challenges in memorizing the Quran, such as difficulties in long-term verse retention, understanding tajwid, and makhraj. A method of memorizing the Quran that can consistently maintain the quality of the memorization is needed. The talaqqi method is a memorization technique where the teacher recites Quranic verses, followed by the students. This research aims to determine how the talaqqi method is implemented at SDIT Iqra Kota Serang, as well as to understand how the quality of Quran memorization among fifth-grade students improves using the talaqqi method. The research approach uses qualitative methods with a case study design. Participants consisted of the school principal, tahfidz coordinator, and 39 students, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of the talaqqi method in the tahfidz program is carried out in a structured manner in the fifth grade. The tahfidz activities take place three times a week, with each session starting with the recitation of ta’awudz and basmallah, followed by the teacher guiding the recitation of verses, which is then followed by the students. Furthermore, the research results indicate an improvement in the quality of Quran memorization among fifth-grade students over one semester after the implementation of the talaqqi method. This is evident from the significant progress in the students' memorization abilities, which is reflected in the levels of tajwid, fashahah, fluency, and understanding of the memorized verses. However, this study also found that the limited implementation time became an obstacle in optimizing the results of the talaqqi method. Therefore, it is recommended that schools extend the duration of the tahfidz program.
