Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah memberikan dampak besar terhadap berbagai bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Dalam era digital ini, guru dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang mampu menjawab tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Guru tidak hanya dituntut untuk memahami teknologi, tetapi juga memanfaatkannya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Sebagai respons terhadap tantangan tersebut, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) meluncurkan Platform Merdeka Mengajar sebagai inovasi untuk mendukung peningkatan kompetensi guru, khususnya dalam pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka yang berfokus pada pengembangan kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada guru Pendidikan Pancasila yang telah menjadi guru penggerak atau mengajar di sekolah penggerak, yakni di SMPN 3 Rancaekek, SMPN 3 Paseh, dan SMPN 2 Bojongsoang Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar, kontribusinya terhadap kompetensi guru, perubahan kompetensi yang terjadi, serta hambatan dan solusi dalam implementasi Platform Merdeka Mengajar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar memberikan dampak positif berdasarkan lima indikator: frekuensi, aktivitas, kemudahan akses, manfaat, dan motivasi. Kontribusi Platform Merdeka Mengajar dari total 13 fitur, 10 fitur digunakan secara aktif oleh guru. Meski begitu, 10 fitur yang digunakan memberikan dampak baik terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru. Perubahan kompetensi yang paling menonjol adalah pada aspek pedagogik, diikuti oleh kompetensi profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Hambatan yang ditemukan mencakup keterbatasan koneksi internet, fasilitas pendukung, dan keterbatasan waktu. Solusi yang direkomendasikan mencakup manajemen waktu yang lebih baik dan peningkatan fasilitas teknologi di sekolah. In this digital era, teachers are required to have competencies that are able to answer the challenges of 21st century learning. Teachers are not only required to understand technology, but also to utilize it to improve the quality of learning. In response to these challenges, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) launched the Merdeka Mengajar Platform as an innovation to support the improvement of teacher competency, especially in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum which focuses on developing teacher competency. This study focuses on Pancasila Education teachers who have become driving teachers or teach in driving schools, namely at SMPN 3 Rancaekek, SMPN 3 Paseh, and SMPN 2 Bojongsoang, Bandung Regency. This study aims to analyze the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform, its contribution to teacher competency, changes in competency that occur, and obstacles and solutions in the implementation of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed that the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform had a positive impact based on five indicators: frequency, activity, ease of access, benefits, and motivation. The contribution of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform from a total of 13 features, 10 features were actively used by teachers. Even so, the 10 features used had a good impact on improving teacher competence. The most prominent changes in competence were in the pedagogical aspect, followed by professional, social, and personality competence. The obstacles found included limited internet connection, supporting facilities, and limited time. Recommended solutions include better time management and improving technology facilities in schools.
