Abstract
ABSTRAK B.INDONESIA Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan program Jumat Ta’lim di MIN 1 Kota Cilegon sebagai upaya membina karakter percaya diri siswa. Kepercayaan diri merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung perkembangan potensi siswa, termasuk kemampuan berkomunikasi, pengambilan keputusan, dan keberanian tampil di depan umum. Program Jumat Ta’lim, yang dilaksanakan setiap Jumat pagi, dirancang sebagai sarana pembiasaan siswa untuk berbicara di depan banyak orang melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti pembacaan doa, tahlil, Asmaul Husna, pidato tiga bahasa, dan kreasi seni. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuisioner yang diberlakukan kepada 50 siswa. Adapun subjek lainnya terdapat beberapa guru, dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini secara signifikan membantu meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa, terutama dalam aspek keberanian tampil di depan umum dan kemampuan mengelola emosi saat berbicara di depan audiens. Namun, ditemukan pula tantangan seperti perasaan malu dan gugup yang masih dialami beberapa siswa. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan program meliputi peran aktif guru sebagai pembimbing, dukungan dari orang tua, serta sistem pelaksanaan yang terstruktur. Sebagai kesimpulan, program Jumat Ta’lim merupakan metode yang efektif dalam membina karakter percaya diri siswa, meskipun perlu dilakukan penguatan pada aspek motivasi dan pelatihan intensif untuk mengatasi hambatan individu. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pembinaan karakter yang dapat diterapkan di berbagai lembaga pendidikan. ABSTRAK B.INGGRIS This research aims to explore the implementation of the Friday Ta'lim program in MIN 1 Cilegon City as an effort to foster students' confident character. Self-confidence is an important aspect in supporting the development of students' potential, including communication skills, decision-making, and the courage to appear in public. The Friday Ta'lim program, which is held every Friday morning, is designed as a means of habituating students to speak in front of many people through various activities such as prayer reading, tahlil, Asmaul Husna, trilingual speeches, and art creations. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires administered to 50 students. As for the other subjects, there are several teachers, and the principal. The results of the study showed that this program significantly helped increase students' confidence, especially in the aspects of courage to appear in public and the ability to manage emotions when speaking in front of an audience. However, there were also challenges such as feelings of shame and nervousness that some students still experienced. Factors supporting the success of the program include the active role of teachers as mentors, support from parents, and a structured implementation system. In conclusion, the Friday Ta'lim program is an effective method in fostering students' confident character, although it is necessary to strengthen the motivation aspect and intensive training to overcome individual obstacles. This program is expected to be a model for character development that can be applied in various educational institutions.
