Abstract
Anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis mengalami tantangan berat pada kehidupannya diantaranya kesulitan pada interaksi sosial, komunikasi sosial, pola pemikiran dan perilaku yang dibatasi atau berulang. Dukungan keluarga merupakan kebutuhan anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis dalam mengatasi hambatan, tapi ada masalah yang ditemukan pada dukungan keluarga, yaitu orang tua memiliki keengganan untuk mengajari dan mendukung anaknya. Orang tua lebih memilih menyerahkan penanganan kepada profesional, selain itu kurangnya dukungan orang tua pada anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis disebabkan faktor ekonomi dan faktor sosial yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem dukungan keluarga dengan komunikasi sosial anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis. Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus, instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ) untuk melihat aspek komunikasi sosial yaitu interaksi sosial, pemahaman sosial, pragmatis dan proses bahasa. Instrumen sistem dukungan keluarga untuk melihat aspek dukungan keluarga yaitu emosional, informasional, instruksional dan instrumental. Hasil temuan, dukungan keluarga secara keseluruhan pada penelitian termasuk sangat baik, aspek emosional pada 6 anak sudah baik, hanya 1 anak yang kurang baik, aspek informasional sudah baik, aspek apresiasi pada 5 anak sudah baik hanya 2 anak yang kurang baik, sementara aspek material pada 6 anak sudah baik, hanya 1 anak yang kurang baik. Sedangkan variabel komunikasi sosial dari aspek interaksi sosial 5 anak sudah baik, 2 anak kurang baik, aspek pemahaman sosial 5 anak sudah baik, hanya 2 anak kurang baik, aspek pragmatis 7 anak kurang, dan aspek proses bahasa pada 2 anak sudah baik, hanya kemampuan komunikasi sosial 5 anak kurang baik. Children with autism spectrum disorders experience severe challenges in their lives, including difficulties in social interaction, social communication, restricted or repetitive thought and behavior patterns. Family support is a need for children with autism spectrum disorders in overcoming obstacles, but there are problems found in family support, namely parents are reluctant to teach and support their children. Parents prefer to hand over the handling to professionals, in addition, the lack of parental support for children with autism spectrum disorders is caused by complex economic and social factors. This study aims to determine the effect of family support systems on social communication in children with autism spectrum disorders. The research design uses a case study, the research instrument used is the Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ) to see aspects of social communication, namely social interaction, social understanding, pragmatics and language processes. Family support system instruments to see aspects of family support, namely emotional, informational, instructional and instrumental. The findings, overall family support in the study included very good, emotional aspects in 6 children were good, only 1 child was not good, informational aspects were good, appreciation aspects in 5 children were good, only 2 children were not good, while material aspects in 6 children were good, only 1 child was not good. While the social communication variable from the social interaction aspect 5 children were good, 2 children were not good, social understanding aspects 5 children were good, only 2 children were not good, pragmatic aspects 7 children were lacking, and language process aspects in 2 children were good, only social communication skills 5 children were not good.
