Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program pembelajaran vokasional tata rias pengantin Sunda Siger guna meningkatkan kesiapan kerja peserta didik tunarungu tingkat SMAKh di SKh Negeri 02 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) yang menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Tahap pertama dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi mendalam untuk menggali kondisi empirik pembelajaran tata rias serta kesiapan kerja peserta didik. Selanjutnya, program hipotetis vokasional tata rias pengantin dikembangkan secara menyeluruh dengan mencakup aspek soft skills dan hard skills melalui keterlibatan para ahli tata rias dan guru praktisi berdasarkan data temuan awal. Program tersebut diuji efektivitasnya melalui workshop yang melibatkan beberapa tahap, yaitu penguatan konsep dan praktik langsung oleh guru bersama Make-Up Artist (MUA). Setelah workshop, guru mengimplementasikan pembelajaran kepada peserta didik dan melakukan pengujian hasilnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program vokasional tata rias pengantin Sunda Siger mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap profesionalisme guru, yang pada akhirnya memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembelajaran peserta didik tunarungu. This study aims to develop a Sundanese Siger bridal makeup vocational learning program to enhance the work readiness of deaf students at the SMAKh level at SKh Negeri 02 Serang City. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The initial stage involves conducting in-depth interviews and observations to examine the empirical conditions of makeup learning and student work readiness. Subsequently, a hypothetical vocational bridal makeup program is comprehensively designed, addressing both soft skills and hard skills, in collaboration with makeup experts and practicing teachers based on the initial findings. The effectiveness of the hypothetical program is evaluated through a quantitative approach using the Wilcoxon pre-test and post-test. The testing process involves a workshop structured into several stages: conceptual reinforcement and hands-on practice by teachers with makeup artists (MUAs). After the workshop, teachers implement the program in their classrooms and assess its effectiveness with pre-tests and post-tests for students. The results demonstrate that implementing the Sundanese Siger bridal makeup vocational program enhances the knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes of teachers, ultimately positively impacting the learning outcomes of deaf students.
