Abstract
Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) merupakan platform yang diluncurkan pada Merdeka Belajar episode 15, untuk dimanfaatkan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dan memudahkan penilaian kinerja. Akan tetapi fakta di lapangan berbeda dengan tujuan utama diluncurkannya PMM, ada guru yang menganggap PMM sebagai beban tambahan guru, sehingga peserta didik di kelas terabaikan, ada juga yang menganggap PMM sebagai peluang untuk berkembang dan meningkatkan kompetensi. Dari 2 respon terebut, peneliti tertarik untuk menggali secara mendalam bagaimana pengalaman guru pada saat menggunakan PMM dan bagaimana pemahaman mereka dalam menggunakan PMM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi, desain ini dipilih karena paling cocok untuk topik ini, karena desain ini berfokus untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman suatu kelompok yang sudah mengalami hal yang sama. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Partisipan yang terlibat sebanyak 21 guru yang berasal dari daerah pedesaan, peralihan, dan perkotaan. Validasi data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru di daerah pedesaan mengalami sedikit pengalaman, karena kurangnya pemahaman mereka dalam menggunakan PMM, sehingga jarang menggunakan PMM. Guru di daerah peralihan dan perkotaan mengalami banyak hal saat menggunakan PMM, dari adaptasi, kolaborasi, pembuatan aksi nyata, pengelolaan kinerja, mencari ide praktik, hingga membagikan hasil karya. Hal-hal tersebut dialami guru karena mereka memahami bagaimana cara menggunakan PMM, sehingga PMM dimanfaatkan sebagaimana mestinya.

Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) is a platform launched in Merdeka Belajar episode 13, to be used by teachers to improve their competence and facilitate performance assessment. However, the facts on the ground are different from the main purpose of launching PMM, there are teachers who consider PMM as an additional burden for teachers, so that students in class are neglected, there are also those who consider PMM as an opportunity to develop and improve competence. From the 2 responses, the researcher is interested in exploring in depth how teachers' experiences are when using PMM and how they understand using PMM. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, this design was chosen because it is most suitable for this topic, because this design focuses on describing the experiences of a group that has experienced the same thing. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The participants involved were 21 teachers from rural, transitional, and urban areas. Data validation used source triangulation techniques and triangulation of data collection techniques. The results showed that teachers in rural areas had little experience, due to their lack of understanding in using PMM, so they rarely used PMM. Teachers in transitional and urban areas experience many things when using PMM, from adaptation, collaboration, making real actions, managing performance, finding ideas for practice, to sharing work results. These things are experienced by teachers because they understand how to use PMM, so that PMM is utilized properly.
