Abstract
Pendidikan karakter memiliki peranan penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa sejak usia dini, terutama di jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Namun, saat ini terdapat fenomena yang menunjukkan adanya krisis dalam pendidikan karakter yang berdampak pada penurunan nilai-nilai religius di kalangan siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya agar terdapat peningkatan karakter pada siswa dengan cara menginternalisasikan nilai karakter religius melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah. Penelitian ini berfokus pada Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Widya Cendekia sebagai lokasi untuk mengkaji proses internalisasi nilai karakter religius siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan dan implikasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam terhadap nilai karakter religius siswa di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Widya Cendekia. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berkontribusi signifikan terhadap penguatan nilai karakter religius siswa di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Widya Cendekia. Berdasarkan data respon siswa, 89% menjawab dengan tepat, sementara 11% menjawab kurang tepat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Widya Cendekia efektif dalam menginternalisasi nilai karakter religius pada siswa. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan agar pihak sekolah terus mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif, melibatkan guru, orang tua, serta lingkungan sekolah secara sinergis untuk memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter religius siswa. Character education plays an important role in shaping students' personalities from an early age, especially at the Elementary School level. However, currently there is a phenomenon that shows a crisis in character education that has an impact on the decline in religious values among students. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' character by internalizing religious character values through Islamic Religious Education subjects in schools. This study focuses on the Widya Cendekia Integrated Islamic Elementary School as a location to study the process of internalizing students' religious character values. This study aims to determine, analyze, and describe the implementation process and implications of Islamic Religious Education learning on students' religious character values at the Widya Cendekia Integrated Islamic Elementary School. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to collect data through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that Islamic Religious Education learning contributes significantly to strengthening students' religious character values at the Widya Cendekia Integrated Islamic Elementary School. Based on student response data, 89% answered correctly, while 11% answered incorrectly. These findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education learning at Widya Cendekia Integrated Islamic Elementary School is effective in internalizing religious character values in students. Therefore, it is recommended that schools continue to develop creative and innovative learning strategies, involving teachers, parents, and the school environment synergistically to strengthen students' religious character values.
