Abstract
Penelitian menguji bagaimana pengaruh dari career development dan work-life
balance terhadap turnover auditor dengan penelitian eksperimen berbasis skenario
desain faktorial 2x2. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 40 mahasiswa Akuntansi
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia angkatan 2021 yang dipilih dengan metode
simple random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Two Way ANAVA dan
Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat
pengaruh dari career development dan work-life balance terhadap turnover auditor
dan tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi dari kedua variabel. Terdapat perbedaan
tingkat turnover pada responden yang memiliki work-life balance dengan yang
tidak memiliki work-life balance pada kondisi tidak memiliki career development
dan pada responden yang memiliki career development dengan yang tidak memiliki
career development pada kondisi tidak memiliki work-life balance, sebaliknya tidak
terdapat perbedaan antara responden yang memiliki work-life balance dengan yang
tidak memiliki work-life balance pada kondisi memiliki career development dan
pada responden yang memiliki career development dengan yang tidak memiliki
career development pada kondisi memiliki work-life balance.
This study examines the impact of career development and work-life balance to
auditor turnover using an experimental scenario based design with a 2x2 factorial
design. The study subjects consist of 40 Accounting students from Universitas
Pendidikan Indonesia, class fo 2021 selected using simple random sampling.
Hypothesis testing was conducted using Two Way ANOVA and Independent Sample
T-Test. The result indicate that career development and work-life balance influence
auditor turnover but there are no interaction effect was found between the two
variables. Differences in turnover levels were observed between respondents with
work-life balance and those without work-life balance in the absence of career
development, as well as between those with career development and those without
career development in the absence of work-life balance. However, no significant
differences were found between respondents with and without work-life balance in
the presence of career development, nor between those with and without career
development in the presence of work-life balance.
