Abstract
ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran yang efektif menjadi kunci untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang berkualitas. Namun, metode pembelajaran konvensional seperti ceramah seringkali kurang mampu melibatkan siswa secara aktif, sehingga partisipasi dan prestasi akademik kurang optimal. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Parungsari pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial. Dari data pra-siklus menunjukkan hanya 10 dari 27 siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM (70), dengan rata-rata nilai keseluruhan siswa yaitu 59,1. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dalam III siklus, dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Setelah penelitian berakhir didapatkan bukti data rata-rata hasil belajar siswa, pada siklus I sebesar 63,3 dengan persentase siswa berhasil 59.3%, siklus II sebesar 74,8 dengan persentase siswa berhasil 74.0% dan siklus III sebesar 83,0 dengan persentase siswa berhasil 92.6%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model TSTS efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam diskusi kelompok dan menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap materi pembelajaran, karena di padukan dengan pertukaran informasi antar kelompok lain. ABSTRACT An effective learning model is the key to achieving quality learning outcomes. However, conventional teaching methods, such as lectures, often fail to actively engage students, resulting in suboptimal participation and academic achievement. This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Parungsari in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. Preliminary data showed that only 10 out of 27 students reached the minimum passing grade (70), with an average score of 59.1. This research aimed to improve student learning outcomes in IPAS through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model, specifically the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted over three cycles, utilizing a qualitative approach and data collection techniques including observations, interviews, and tests. At the conclusion of the research, it was evidenced that the students’ average learning outcomes increased, with the first cycle reaching an average of 63.3 and a success rate of 59.3%, the second cycle achieving an average of 74.8 and a success rate of 74.0%, and the third cycle attaining an average of 83.0 and a success rate of 92.6%. The results indicated that implementing the TSTS model effectively enhanced students' learning outcomes. Students became more active in group discussions and demonstrated a better understanding of the learning material, facilitated by the exchange of information among groups.
