    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh isu protes netizen di media sosial X terkait desain burung garuda Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). Isu ini sangat ramai diperbincangkan mengingat IKN adalah salah satu hal penting bagi Indonesia kelak. Adanya uang rakyat yang dipergunakan untuk membangun IKN membuat netizen semakin gencar berprotes. Melihat kondisi tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk mengkaji isu ini lebih jauh dari aspek bahasa, terutama bagaimana kecenderungan tindak ilokusioner netizen ketika berprotes. Data akan diambil dari X sebanyak 100 komentar dalam kurun waktu dari Agustus-September 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap, dokumentasi, dan catat. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan komentar protes netizen mengandung jenis tindak tutur ilokusi asertif, ekspresif, dan direktif. Tidak ditemukan ilokusi komisif dan deklarasi. Tindak tutur ilokusi yang sering digunakan netizen adalah asertif dengan fungsi menyatakan karena netizen cenderung memberikan informasi terhadap sesuatu yang kebenarannya diyakini oleh dirinya sendiri. Kedua terbanyak adalah ekspresif dengan fungsi menghina yang kebanyakan digambarkan secara langsung (tersurat). Yang terakhir adalah direktif dengan fungsi bertanya agar mendapat jawaban alasan burung garuda IKN dibuat menunduk.

    This research is motivated by the issue of netizen protests on social media X regarding the design of the garuda bird of Nusantara Capital City (NCC). This issue is widely discussed considering that NCC is one of the important matters for Indonesia in the future. Using public funds to build the new capital city has made netizens increasingly vocal in their protests. Seeing these conditions has prompted researchers to examine this issue further from a linguistic perspective, particularly how the illocutionary acts of netizens tend to manifest when protesting. Data will be collected from X, consisting of 100 comments from August to September 2024. The method used is qualitative. Data collection was carried out using the techniques of free listening, documentation, and note-taking. The results of this study found that netizens' protest comments contain types of illocutionary speech acts that are assertive, expressive, and directive. No commissive and declarative illocutions were found. The illocutionary acts often used by netizens are assertive with the function of stating because netizens tend to provide information about something whose truth they believe in themselves. The second most common is expressive with the function of insulting, which is mostly depicted directly (explicitly). The last one is directive with the function of asking to get an answer to the reason why the Garuda bird of NCC is made to bow.
