    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Gelam IV pada materi Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK) dan Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB) dengan menggunakan media permainan congklak berbasis pembelajaran etnomatematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes, observasi, dan wawancara yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media congklak dapat meningkatkan pemahaman matematika siswa dalam materi KPK dan FPB, yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III. Selain itu, aktivitas dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian penggunaan media congklak sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran matematika dalam pengajaran konsep KPK dan FPB sangat direkomendasi guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara efektif, meskipun ada sedikit kekurangan dari media yang digunakan. This research aims to improve the mathematical understanding ability of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Gelam IV on the material of Least Common Multiple (KPK) and Greatest Common Factor (FPB) by using the congklak game media based on ethnomathematics learning. This research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of three cycles, each including planning, action, observation and reflection stages. Research data was obtained through tests, observations and interviews which were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the research show that the use of congklak media can improve students' mathematical understanding in KPK and FPB material, as shown by the increase in students' average scores from cycle I to cycle III. Apart from that, student activity and involvement in the learning process has also increased. Thus, the use of congklak media as a mathematics learning aid in teaching the concepts of KPK and FPB is highly recommended in order to increase students' understanding effectively, even though there are some shortcomings in the media used.
