Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang upaya PKn Global untuk menumbuhkan sikap multicultural siswa di SMP kota Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran yang mendalam tentang fenomena PKn global dalam menumbuhkan sikap multikultural di kalangan siswa SMP, terutama di lingkungan sekolah di Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan diantaranya observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Breacketing, Phenomenological Reduction, Imaginative Variation dan Synthesis of Meanings and Essences. Uji Keabsahan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi 1) Program sekolah di SMP Kota Surabaya menyatukan pembelajaran formal dan ekstrakurikuler untuk membentuk siswa dengan kesadaran global, toleransi, dan kepedulian terhadap keberagaman. 2) Cetak biru nilai global citizenship diterapkan melalui pembelajaran, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan budaya sekolah yang inklusif. 3) Proses pembudayaan melalui program sekolah ini menghasilkan siswa yang peka terhadap keberagaman dan mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai global citizenship. This study is about the efforts of Global Civics to foster multicultural attitudes of students in junior high schools in Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to obtain an in-depth description of the phenomenon of global civics in fostering multicultural attitudes among junior high school students, especially in the school environment in Surabaya City, East Java. The research design used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research method. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques used are Breaking, Phenomenological Reduction, Imaginative Variation and Synthesis of Meaning and Essence. Data validity testing is carried out through data triangulation. The results of this study include 1) The program at junior high schools in Surabaya City combines formal and extracurricular learning to form students with global awareness, tolerance, and concern for diversity. 2) The blueprint of global citizenship values is applied through learning, extracurricular activities, and an inclusive school culture. 3) The process of acculturation through this school program produces students who are sensitive to diversity and are able to apply global citizenship values.
