Abstract
Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu kemampuan dasar yang harus dimiliki setiap siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan di abad-21. Namun nyatanya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di Indonesia masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan peningkatan model penggunaan model Project Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan jenis desain non-evaquivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar yang berada dikecamatan Purwakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ialah kelas IVA dengan jumlah 26 siswa dan kelas IVB dengan jumlah 26 siswa di SD Negeri 2 Sindangkasih, Purwakarta. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan model Project Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar dalam mata pelajaran IPAS. Hasil perhitungan koefesien determinasi model Project Based Learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa sebesar 56,3%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 73% yang berarti penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning lebih baik untuk digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan model Project Based Learning memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas IV yang memperoleh perlakuan model Project Based Learning lebih baik dari siswa yang mendapatkan perlakuan degan model Cooperative Learning

The ability to think creatively is a fundamental skill that every student must possess to navigate the challenges of the 21st century. However, the reality is that the creative thinking skills of students in Indonesia remain inadequate. This research aims to investigate the influence and enhancement of the Project-Based Learning model on the creative thinking abilities of students in the IPAS context at the primary school level.The research employs a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The population comprises all fourth-grade students in elementary schools within the Purwakarta district. The sample includes Class IVA with 26 students and Class IVB with 26 students from SD Negeri 2 Sindangkasih, Purwakarta. The findings of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of the Project-Based Learning model on the creative thinking abilities of primary school students in the IPAS subject. The calculation of the coefficient of determination for the Project-Based Learning model reveals an influence on students' creative thinking abilities amounting to 56.3%. Based on the N-Gain calculation, the experimental class achieved a score of 73%, suggesting that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model is more effective in enhancing students' creative thinking abilities.
In conclusion, the study establishes that the use of the Project-Based Learning model has a significant impact on improving the creative thinking abilities of students in the IPAS subject in fourth-grade primary schools. The creative thinking abilities of fourth-grade students who received the Project-Based Learning treatment were superior to those of students who were taught using the Cooperative Learning model.
