Abstract
Kesenian sisingaan merupakan sebuah kesenian tradisional yang lahir dan berkembang di Kabupaten Subang. Dimana dalam pertunjukannya memadukan antara unsur gerak (tari), Musik, dan vokal. Kesenian sisingaan ini sering digunakan sebagai sarana hiburan di acara khitanan (hajatan), dan kini sisingaan sudah mulai dijadikan sebagai hiburan untuk menyambut tamu-tamu yang di istimewakan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur pertunjukan dan komposisi musik yang dimainkan oleh grup sisingaan Putra Mekar Jaya. KESENIAN SISINGAAN GRUP PUTRA MEKAR JAYA PADA ACARA KHITANAN DI KABUPATEN SUBANG yang merupakan judul penelitian ini digali melalui metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif, tujuannya untuk menjawab permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan rumusan masalah. Secara operasional penelitian terkait dengan proses observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian diolah dan dianalisis melalui reduksi, display, analisis, dan verifikasi. Temuan dari hasil penelitian mengenai struktur pertunjukan yaitu: pembukaan, isi (helaran dan di tempat), penutup. Komposisi musik yang dimainkan pada saat helaran mengandung unsur musikal, diantaranya seperti: pola ritmik, melodi, harmoni dan lain-lain. Apabila unsur-unsur tersebut dipadukan maka akan tercipta sebuah musik yang utuh. Dengan harapan hasil temuan tersebut dapat berkontribusi bagi referensi khasanah pendidikan dan budaya daerah. Sisingaan art is a traditional art which was born and develoved in the district Subang. Where in the show combines elements of dance, music, and vocal. Sisingaan art is often used as a means of entertaimen in the circumcision ceremony, now sisingaan already begun in use as entertaiment to greet guest in particular about. The method used in this study aimed to describe the structure of the show and composition of music played by the group sisingaan Putra Mekar Jaya. “Sisingaan Art Group Putra Mekar Jaya At The Circumcision In The District Subang” which is the title of this research explored trough descriptive method of analysis with a qualitative approach, the goal is to address ossues relating to the formulation of the problem. In operation reseach related to the process of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data have been collected later on though and in the analysis by reduction, display, analysis, and verification. The findings of the reseach oh the structure of the show are: opening, the contents (the procession and in place), and cover. The composition of the music played during the show contains musical elements, such as: rhythmic patterns, melody, harmony and other. When these elements in the mix, it will create a musical piece. Whit these findings can contribute and culture references.
