Abstract

ABSTRAK GAMBARAN KARATERISTIK PASIEN DISPEPSIA DI PUSKESMAS CIMALAKA SUMEDANG Riva Nurizkiah Email : rivanurizkiah@upi.edu Program Studi Sarjana Keperawatan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus Sumedang Latar Belakang. Dispepsia adalah gangguan pencernaan yang ditandai dengan nyeri epigastrium, mual, kembung, dan sensasi panas di dada. Prevalensinya di Indonesia berkisar antara 40–50%, dengan peningkatan kasus pada usia 15–59 tahun. Faktor risiko dispepsia meliputi pola makan tidak teratur, konsumsi makanan iritatif, obesitas, stres, dan pengguna OAINS. Prevalensi lebih tinggi pada perempuan dan individu di atas 40 tahun. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dispepsia dipengaruhi oleh faktor gaya hidup dan psikologis yang memerlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif dalam penanganannya. Tujuan. Penelitian ini untuk Menganalisis gambaran karakteristik pasien dispepsia yang berkunjung ke Puskesmas Cimalaka, Sumedang. Metode. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan metode accidental sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 85 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan pada peneitian ini yaitu kuesioner. Hasil. Hasil distribusi frekuensi demografi responden menunjukkan bahwa hampir seluruh responden adalah perempuan (78,7%) dan sebagian besar berada dalam kategori dewasa awal (51,7%). Sebagian besar responden memiliki status gizi normal (83,1%). Pola makan responden cenderung tidak teratur (67,4%), dan hampir seluruhnya mengonsumsi makanan serta minuman iritatif (64%). Hampir seluruh responden (91%) melaporkan mengalami stres ringan, sementara sebagian kecil mengalami stres sedang dan berat. Selain itu, lebih dari setengah responden (57,3%) tidak mengonsumsi Obat Antiinflamasi Nonsteroid (OAINS). Kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pasien dispepsia di Puskesmas Cimalaka adalah perempuan berusia dewasa awal dengan status gizi normal, tingkat stress ringan, tidak mengonkumsi Obat Antiinflamasi Nonsteroid (OAINS), pola makan tidak teratur dan banyak yang mengonsumsi makanan serta minuman yang bersifat iritatif. Its prevalence in Indonesia ranges from 40–50%, with an increase in cases among individuals aged 15–59 years. Risk factors for dyspepsia include irregular eating patterns, consumption of irritative foods, obesity, stress, and use of NSAIDs. The prevalence is higher in women and individuals over 40 years old. Research shows that dyspepsia is influenced by lifestyle and psychological which require a comprehensive approach in its management. Objective: This study aims to analyze the characteristics of dyspepsia patients visiting Puskesmas Cimalaka, Sumedang. Method: This is a quantitative study with a descriptive-analytic design. The sample was taken using accidental sampling, with 108 respondents. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Results: The frequency distribution of demographic data showed that almost all respondents were female (78.7%), with the majority in the early adult category (51.7%). Most respondents had normal health status (83.1%). The respondents' eating patterns tended to be irregular (67.4%), and almost all consumed irritative foods and drinks (64%). Nearly all respondents (91%) reported experiencing mild stress, while a small number experienced moderate to severe stress. Additionally, more than half of the respondents (57.3%) did not consume Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). Conclusion: This study shows that the majority of dyspepsia patients at Puskesmas Cimalaka are women in early adulthood with normal nutritional status, mild stress levels, not using NSAIDs, irregular eating patterns, and many consume irritative foods and drinks.
