Abstract
Penelitian ini berawal dari fenomena rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas XII IPS di SMA Negeri 6 Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Jenis penelitian ini termasuk rancangan Kuasi Eksperimen. Dengan desain eksperimen nonequivalent control group design (pretest-posttest control group design). Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 6 Bandung tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Siswa kelas XII IPS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol, dan kelas XII IPS 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes bentuk uraian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan hasil belajar dari nilai rata-rata post test siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol. Serta dibuktikan dari perolehan N-Gain (indeks peningkatan) dikedua kelas, dimana kelas eksperimen lebih banyak siswa dengan kategori indeks peningkatan tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol lebih banyak siswa dengan kategori indeks peningkatan sedang. Dalam pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann Whitney dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS Statistic 20 diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 dengan taraf kepercayaan 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The purpose of this research is to determine differences in learning outcomes between the classes that implement cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with a class that does not implementing cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT). This research included the design of quasi-experiments. With the experimental design nonequivalent control group design (pretest-posttest control group). The population are all the class XII students of SMAN 6 Bandung IPS school batch 2014/2015. The sample in this research is using purposive sampling technique. Class XII IPS 1 as the control class, and the class as a class XII IPS 3 experiments. This research instruments is using test form description. Based on the results of the research, value of the average post-test students in the experimental class higher than the average value of the control class. As well as evidenced from the acquisition of N-Gain (index increase) in both classes, where more experimental class students with a high increase in the index category, while the control class students with a more modest increase in the index category. In hypothesis test is using the Mann Whitney test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software obtained 0.00 < 0.05 with a confidence level of 0.05. It can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between the classes that implement cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with a class that does not implement cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT).
