Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai persepsi orang tua tentang berhitung pada anak usia dini karena melihat orang tua bagaimana cara memberikan kemampuan berhitung pada anak usia dini. Fokus Utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana sebenarnya Persepsi orang tua tentang Berhitung pada Anak Usia Dini di PAUD, yang meliputi Persepsi secara Umum tentng belajar Berhitung, Keyakinan Orang tua tentang Penerapan metode berhitung, dan Bagaimana Peran orang tua dalam membimbing belajar berhitungn anak Usia Dini mereka. Penelitian ini mengikuti tahapan dari metode penelitian survey, dimana pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner/pertanyaan. Partisipan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini khusus difokuskan pada orang tua anak Siswa anak usia dini pada Pos PAUD “Cempaka Putih”, di kecamatan ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis sebanyak 11 orang tua. Dapat diperoleh dari hasil analisis data angket dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS IBM 20. Bahwa hasil dari perolehan data kemudian dapat diinterpretasikan berdasarkan pada tujuan penelitian. Berdasarkan dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, tingkat Persepsi Orang tua Siswa terhadap Berhitung pada Anak Usia Dini dibagi dalam tiga kategori yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) Kategori Persepsi (Pendapat Umum) Orang tua tentang Berhitung kelompok Sangat Setuju 61%, Kelompok Setuju 39%. 2) Kategori Persepsi (keyakinan) orang tua siswa tentang penerapan metode berhitung, untuk kelompok Sangat Setuju 58%, Setuju 39%, Netral 3%. 3) Untuk Kategori Peran Orang dalam membimbing belajar berhitung anak, kelompok Sangat Setuju 51%, Kelompok Setuju 46%, dan yang menjawab Netral 3%. The purpose of this research is to explore parents' perceptions of counting in early childhood, as it examines how parents provide counting skills to young children. The main focus of this research is to understand the perceptions of parents regarding counting in early childhood education (PAUD), which includes general perceptions about learning to count, parents' beliefs about the application of counting methods, and the role of parents in guiding their young children's counting learning. This research follows the stages of the survey research method, where data collection uses instruments in the form of questionnaires/questions. The participants used in this study specifically focused on the parents of early childhood students at the PAUD "Cempaka Putih" center in the Ciamis district, with a total of 11 parents. It should be obtained from the analysis of questionnaire data in this study using SPSS IBM 20. The results from the data collection can then be interpreted based on the research objectives. Based on the research conducted, the level of Parents' Perception of Counting in Early Childhood is divided into three categories as follows: 1) The Perception Category (General Opinion) of parents about Counting shows that 61% strongly agree, and 39% agree. 2) The Perception Category (Belief) of parents regarding the application of counting methods shows that 58% strongly agree, 39% agree, and 3% are neutral. 3) For the Role Category of parents in guiding children's counting learning, 51% strongly agree, 46% agree, and 3% are neutral.
