Abstract
Kawasan Citatah memiliki sumber daya mineral yang dapat dijadikan laboratorium alam dalam pembelajaran Kimia Unsur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan desain pembelajaran Kimia Unsur menggunakan konteks tambang berkelanjutan melalui kerangka berpikir sistem yang tervalidasi dan teruji untuk kelas XII SMA. Berpikir sistem yang digunakan mengadopsi System Thinking Hierarchy (STH). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed method dengan kerangka berpikir Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara, peta konsep, repertory grid, dan soal tes. Desain tahapan pembelajaran dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis konten dari 9 literatur dan wawancara kosepsi awal 8 orang peserta didik pada materi Sistem Periodik Unsur. Analisis konsepsi awal menunjukkan peserta didik kesulitan menjelaskan konsep periode dan golongan, serta belum dapat mengaitkan dengan konsep lain seperti geologi dan keberlanjutan. Rancangan desain tahapan pembelajaran yang dihasilkan berupa pembelajaran STEM-PjBL yang diimplementasikan kepada 38 peserta didik di salah satu SMA negeri di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hasil analisis peta konsep sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menunjukkan hanya 16% peserta didik yang berhasil menunjukkan konsep berupa proses selain komponen yang terdapat dalam peta konsep mereka. Keterampilan berpikir sistem peserta didik berdasarkan analisis konstruk repertory grid berada pada tingkatan analisis (60,53%) dan sintesis (39,47%), sedangkan hasil analisis fokus klaster dari software Rep plus V1.1 memperlihatkan kategori tinggi (13,16%), kategori sedang (68,42%), dan kategori rendah (18,42%). Analisis soal pos tes menunjukkan sebagian besar peserta didik berada pada tingkatan berpikir sistem analisis yang mampu menentukan komponen kimia unsur dan proses pertambangan berkelanjutan, namun masih harus dikembangkan kemampuan pada tingkatan sintesis dan implementasi. The Citatah area has mineral resources that can be used as a natural laboratory in learning elemental chemistry. This research aims to produce an elemental chemistry learning design using the context of sustainable mining through a validated and tested systems thinking framework for class XII SMA. The system thinking used adopts the System Thinking Hierarchy (STH). The research method used is mixed method with the Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER) framework. The instruments used were interview guidelines, concept maps, repertory grids, and test questions. The design of the learning stages was developed based on the results of content analysis from 9 literatures and interviews of initial conceptions of 8 students on the Periodic System of Elements material. The initial conception analysis shows that students have difficulty explaining the concepts of period and group, and have not been able to relate to other concepts such as geology and sustainability. The design of the learning stages produced in the form of STEM-PjBL learning was implemented to 38 students in one of the public high schools in West Bandung Regency. The results of concept map analysis before and after learning showed that only 16% of learners managed to show concepts in the form of processes other than the components contained in their concept maps. The students' systems thinking skills based on the repertory grid construct analysis were at the analysis (60.53%) and synthesis (39.47%) levels, while the cluster focus analysis results from Rep plus V1.1 software showed a high category (13.16%), medium category (68.42%), and low category (18.42%). Analysis of post-test questions shows that most students are at the level of analytical system thinking that is able to determine the chemical components of elements and the continuous mining process, but still have to develop abilities at the level of synthesis and implementation.
