    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan kesulitan peserta didik memahami materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan penyebut berbeda, peserta didik sering keliru memahami materi tersebut yaitu dengan menjumlahkan atau mengurangan antara pembilang dengan pembilang dan penyebut dengan penyebut. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan memahami konsep matematika dapat dibantu melalui media pembelajaran konkrit atau manipulasi benda. Keterbatasan media pembelajaran pada materi tersebut menjadi landasan utama untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media jendela pecahan yang merupakan media pembelajaran konkret untuk memudahkan peserta didik memahami materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan penyebut berbeda di kelas V. Pelaksanaan penelitian pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan jenis penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengam metode ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui wawancara pada pendidik dan peserta didik, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan angket. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 1 Dewasari, dan SDN 3 Dewasari dengan subjek penelitian pendidik serta peserta didik kelas V. Hasil validasi media jendela pecahan oleh ahli materi dengan persentase 85% kriteria sangat layak sedakan ahli media mendapatkan persentase 77,5% dengan kriteria layak. Implementasi tahap satu mendapatkan hasil angket respons pendidik dengan persentase sebesar 90% dan 88,02% dari peserta didik, sedangkan implementasi tahap dua mendapatkan hasil angket respons dari pendidik sebesar 92,5% dan 91,63% dari peserta didik, seluruh angket respons pengguna mendapatkan kriteria sangat praktis. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media jendela pecahan layak dan sangat praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan penyebut berbeda di Sekolah Dasar.   This research is motivated by the difficulty of students understanding the material on adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators, students often misunderstand this material, namely by adding or subtracting the numerator to the numerator and the denominator to the denominator. The results of the literature study show that difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts can be helped through concrete learning media or object manipulation. The limitations of learning media in this material are the main basis for conducting this research. The aim of this research is to develop fraction window media which is a concrete learning media to make it easier for students to understand the material of adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators in class V. The development research was carried out using the R&D (Research and Development) type of research using the ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Data collection techniques in this research include interviews with educators and students, observation, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The research was conducted at SDN 1 Dewasari, and SDN 3 Dewasari with the research subjects being educators and class V students. Validation results for fractional window media by material experts with a percentage of 85% with very feasible criteria, while media experts obtained a percentage of 77.5% with adequate criteria. The first stage of implementation obtained teacher response questionnaire results with a percentage of 90% and 88.02% of students, while the second stage of implementation obtained response questionnaire results from educators of 92.5% and 91.63% of students, all user response questionnaires get very practical criteria. These data show that the fraction window media is feasible and very practical to use in teaching mathematics about adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators in elementary schools.
