Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between film-induced tourism and tourists' interest in visiting Netflix's Cigarette Girl series and the film Exhuma. The research uses a quantitative approach with the Spearman rank correlation test analysis tool, testing is carried out using IBM SPSS 25 for Windows. The research sample using accidental sampling technique was 320 respondents with 160 respondents for each film. The research instrument uses a questionnaire that is distributed both offline and online such as social media. The results of descriptive analysis research and Spearman correlation testing show that there is a significant relationship between film-induced tourism in the Cigarette Girl Series and tourist interest in visiting the Kretek Museum with the results H₁ being accepted and H₀ being rejected with a strength of relationship of 0.708 and in the classification of the level of relationship it means having a strong relationship. Meanwhile, the results of the descriptive analysis and correlation test on the relationship between Exhuma film-induced tourism and tourist interest in visiting the Ahopsan Forest stated that there was a significant relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient value of 0.784, which in the classification of the relationship level was in the strong relationship category.
