Abstract

Problem Based Learning merupakann salah satu model pembelajaran untuk membantu siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah. Dalam penelitian ini , akan dipaparkan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi belajar siswa setelah di terapkan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning dalam proses pembelajaran, mengetahui gambaran penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning, dan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa X TGB 2 dan X TGB 3 di SMK Negeri 1 Cilaku-Cianjur terutama pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik, selain itu nilai siswa yang belum mencapai KKM pun masih tinggi (76%). Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi objek penelitian yaitu siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Cilaku-Cianjur. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu sampling jenuh, jumlah sampel yaitu 57 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alat pengumpul data dan teknik analisis data dalam menggunakan korelasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa X TGB 2 dan X TGB 3 meningkat setelah diberlakukan model pembelajaran Problem-based Learning. Adapun besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem-based Learning dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 52,20%. Dengan demikian, dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X TGB 2 dan X TGB 3 pada Mata Pelajaran Mekanika Teknik di SMK Negeri 1 Cilaku-Cianjur. Kata Kunci : motivasi belajar, metode pembelajaran Problem-based Learning (PBL).  Problem Based Learning is a learning model that helps students in their learning process which is situated based on students’ daily activities at school. This research describes the effect of Problem-Based Learning Implementation towards students’ motivation. The purpose of this research was to find out the description of students’ motivation after the implementation of Problem-Based Learning model in their learning process, to reveal the description of Problem-Based Learning model implementation, and to analyze the effect of Problem-Based Learning model towards students’ learning motivation. The main issue of this research is the low learning motivation of students in X TGB 2 and X TGB 3 di SMK Negeri 1 Cilaku-Cianjur, particularly on Mechanical Engineering subject. Besides, the percentage of students’ score that have not met the KKM (76%) is still high. The object of this research is students of SMK Negeri 1 Cilaku-Cianjur. The sampling technique applied was saturation sampling, and the numbers of samples are 48 people. The method of this research was analytical descriptive which applied questionnaires as the instrument for collecting data and the technique of data analysis applied correlation technique. The research findings revealed that students’ learning motivation in X TGB 2 and X TGB 3 has increased after the implementation of Problem-Based learning model. The percentage of Problem-Based learning model effect in increasing students’ learning motivation was 52,20%. Hence, it can be concluded that there is positive and significant effect of Problem-Based learning model towards students’ learning motivation of class X TGB 2 and X TGB 3 in Mechanical Engineering subject in SMK Negeri 1 Cilaku-Cianjur.
