Abstract

Interaksi sosial adalah hubungan timbal balik individu dengan individu lain yang
saling melakukan kontak dan komunikasi. Interaksi sosial ini perlu diterapkan sejak
dini melalui pendidikan anak usia dini sebagai pengenalan awal anak bersosialisasi
di lingkungan sosialnya. Proses interaksi sosial anak menjadi lebih luas melalui
pendidikan anak usia dini. Namun, terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi anak dari
keluarga multietnis menempatkan diri untuk berinteraksi dengan teman dan guru.
Penelitian ini diambil karena ingin mengetahui permasalahan dari interaksi sosial
anak usia dini multietnis, yaitu dengan menganalisis profil keluarga anak,
permasalahan yang dihadapi anak di sekolah, dan upaya sekolah yang dilakukan
guru dalam menerapkan dan mengoptimalkan interaksi sosial pada anak. Penelitian
ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik dalam
pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi kelapangan
secara langsung yang dilaksanakan di sekolah TK Artanita Al-Khoeriyah dan
sumber yang diambil sebagai referensi dari artikel jurnal, buku, dan skripsi. Hasil
penelitian ini diketahui bahwa profil anak keluarga multietnis berasal dari
percampuran etnis Jawa dan Sunda yang mendapati penerapan dua identitas
kebudayaan. Identitas kebudayaan Sunda dengan menerapkan silih asah, silih asih,
silih asuh yang diberikan oleh ayah. Sedangkan identitas kebudayaan Jawa dengan
menerapkan dadi wong yang diberikan oleh ibu. Permasalahan yang dihadapi anak
saat berinteraksi muncul di sekolah diakibatkan oleh kesalahpahaman makna dalam
berkomunikasi. Upaya yang dilakukan sekolah melalui pembiasaan yang diberikan
guru seperti diskusi internal, pembiasaan disiplin, dan pengenalan budaya Sunda
sebagai interaksi dengan anak yang ditampilkan di sekolah.

Social interaction is an individual's reciprocal relationship with other
individuals who make contact and communicate with each other. This social
interaction needs to be implemented from an early age through early childhood
education as an initial introduction for children to socialize in their social
environment. The process of children's social interaction becomes broader through
early childhood education. However, there are problems faced by children from
multiethnic families in placing themselves to interact with friends and teachers.
This research was taken because we wanted to find out the problems of multi-ethnic
early childhood social interaction, namely by analyzing the child's family profile,
the problems faced by children at school, and the school's efforts made by teachers
in implementing and optimizing social interaction with children. This research is
qualitative research with a case study method. Techniques for collecting data
include interviews, documentation and direct field observations carried out at the
Artanita Al-Khoeriyah Kindergarten school and sources taken as references from
journal articles, books and theses. The results of this research show that the profile
of children in multi-ethnic families comes from a mixture of Javanese and
Sundanese ethnicities which finds the application of two cultural identities.
Sundanese cultural identity with the application of silih asah, silih asih, silih asih
given by the father. Meanwhile, Javanese cultural identity is based on the dadi
wong given by the mother. The problems children face when interacting at school
are caused by misunderstandings about the meaning of communication. Efforts
made by the school are through familiarization provided by teachers, such as
internal discussions, habituation to discipline, and the introduction of Sundanese
culture as an interaction with children displayed at school.
