Abstract
Kompetensi sosio-emosional adalah kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memahami emosi diri sendiri dan orang lain, serta mengelola emosi saat berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Remaja memiliki tingkat sosio-emosional yang berbeda-beda tergantung dengan lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sosial, dan pengalaman pribadinya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran kompetensi sosio-emosional yang dimiliki remaja dan rancangan layanan bimbingan konseling untuk mengembangkan kompetensi sosio-emosional. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 141 siswa dari SMA Negeri 6 Bandung. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian remaja berada pada kategori mastery, sebagian besar remaja berada pada kategori competent, dan sejumlah kecil remaja berada pada kategori threshold. Layanan bimbingan klasikal dianggap dapat mengembangkan kompetensi sosio-emosional remaja. Socio-emotional competence is the ability to identify and understand one's own and others' emotions, and to manage emotions when interacting with others. Adolescents have different levels of socio-emotional competence depending on their family environment, social environment, and personal experiences. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of socio-emotional competence possessed by adolescents and the design of counseling guidance services to develop socio-emotional competence. The approach used in this study was quantitative with descriptive analysis methods. The respondents in this study were 141 students from SMA Negeri 6 Bandung. The results showed that some adolescents were in the mastery category, most adolescents were in the competent category, and a small number of adolescents were in the threshold category. Classical guidance services are considered to be able to develop adolescent socio-emotional competence.
