Abstract

Perilaku keselamatan anak usia dini sangatlah penting untuk diterapkan karena anak usia dini sangat rentan terhadap kecelakaan dan keadaan bahaya. Peran pendidik selaku fasilitator dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu mengimplementasikan pendidikan keselamatan dan mengembangkan perencanaan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Implementasi pendidikan keselamatan di PAUD dapat dilaksanakan dengan berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir prediktif anak melalui berbagai model dan metode pembelajaran, termasuk salah satunya dengan model pembelajaran EEK (Eksplorasi, Elaborasi, dan Konfirmasi). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan dasar kebutuhan produk, rancangan produk, proses uji coba produk dan hasil refleksi pengembangan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research (EDR) yang dikembangkan oleh McKenney dan Reeves. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, validasi ahli, wawancara, dan angket (kuesioner). Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, media, dan ahli pedagogik yang nantinya akan dilakukan revisi sesuai saran dari validator sampai produk dikatakan layak. Secara umum, modul ajar Safety Behavior ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Refleksi pengembangan produk ini yakni menghasilkan modul ajar Safety Behavior untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir prediktif anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku perencanaan pembelajaran yang memuat aktivitas pembelajaran dengan konten perilaku keselamatan dan dilengkapi dengan media pembelajaran Road Map untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir prediktif anak usia dini.

Early childhood safety behavior is very important to implement because early childhood is very vulnerable to accidents and hazards. The role of educators as facilitators in learning activities is to implement safety education and develop learning plans that suit children's needs. The implementation of safety education in PAUD can be implemented by focusing on developing children's predictive thinking skills through various learning models and methods, including one of them with the EEK (Eksplorasi, Elaborasi, and Konfirmasi) learning model. The purpose of this study is to describe the basis of product needs, product design, product trial process and product development reflection results. This research uses the Educational Design Research (EDR) method developed by McKenney and Reeves. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, expert validation, interviews, and questionnaires. Validation was carried out by material, media, and pedagogical experts who would later make revisions according to suggestions from validators until the product was deemed feasible. In general, this Safety Behavior teaching module is suitable for use in learning. The reflection of this product development is to produce a Safety Behavior teaching module to facilitate early childhood predictive thinking skills. This research produces a lesson planning book that contains learning activities with safety behavior content and is completed by the teacher.
