Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena Hallyu Enthusiast di kalangan Generasi Z Kota Bandung akibat berkembangnya Korean Wave. Fanatisme Hallyu enthusiast memicu perilaku konsumtif terhadap budaya Korea yang berpotensi menurunkan rasa nasionalisme Generasi Z di Kota Bandung. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Korean Wave terhadap sikap nasionalisme Generasi Z Kota Bandung, khususnya yang merupakan bagian dari Hallyu enthusiast. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner online kepada 100 responden Generasi Z di Kota Bandung yang menyukai Hallyu, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sedangkan pengolahan data menggunakan software IBM Statistic 25. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan minat Hallyu (X) berpengaruh negatif pada menurunnya tingkat nasionalisme (Y) dengan korelasi negatif sebesar -0,258 yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya pergeseran perhatian serta minat generasi muda terhadap nilai-nilai dan identitas nasional Indonesia terhadap budaya asing. Namun, hallyu hanya berpengaruh sebesar 0.066 atau 6% saja terhadap sikap nasioalisme seseorang. Generasi Z yang menyukai budaya Hallyu cenderung mengalami penurunan sikap nasionalisme. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan keseimbangan antara apresiasi terhadap budaya asing dengan pemeliharaan identitas nasional generasi muda. Peningkatan kesadaran dan kebanggaan nasional pada Generasi Z harus dilakukan seiring dengan apresiasi terhadap budaya global. This research is motivated by the Hallyu Enthusiast phenomenon among Generation Z in Bandung City due to the development of the Korean Wave. The fanaticism of Hallyu enthusiasts triggers consumerist behavior towards Korean culture which has the potential to reduce Generation Z's sense of nationalism in the city of Bandung. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of the Korean Wave on the nationalistic attitudes of Generation Z in Bandung City, especially those who are part of the Hallyu enthusiasm. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. Data collection was carried out by distributing online questionnaires to 100 Generation Z respondents in Bandung City who liked Hallyu, using purposive sampling techniques, while data processing used IBM Statistics 25 software. The results of the regression analysis showed that increasing interest in Hallyu (X) had a negative effect on decreasing levels of nationalism. (Y) with a negative correlation of -0.258 which shows that there is a shift in the attention and interest of the younger generation towards Indonesian national values and identity towards foreign culture. However, hallyu only has an effect of 0.066 or 6% on a person's nationalist attitude. Generation Z who like Hallyu culture tends to experience a decline in nationalistic attitudes. Therefore, a balance is needed between appreciation of foreign culture and maintaining the national identity of the younger generation. Increasing national awareness and pride in Generation Z must be carried out in line with appreciation of global culture.
