Abstract

Hadirnya program P5 sebagai bagian dari kurikulum merdeka merupakan bentuk dukungan bagi dunia pendidikan khususnya pendidikan karakter. P5 adalah kegiatan kokurikuler yang dirancang untuk menyeimbangkan intrakurikuler serta menguatkan karakter dan kompetensi siswa. Tujuan diadakannya program P5 untuk menjawab permasalahan-permasalahan yang akan dihadapi oleh peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program P5 di Kelas IV SDN 5 Gunungpereng. Mulai dari kegiatan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan , implikasi, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program P5. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian diantranya guru kelas , dan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 5 Gunungpereng. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan konsep Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan sangat beragam, salah satunya dengan adanya program P5. Program ini dapat mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan pada peserta didik melalui serangkaian pelaksanaan kegiatan seperti pengelolaan sampah. pengintegrasian materi mengenai lingkungan, daur ulang sampah, dan program khusus lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program P5 di Kelas IV SDN 5 Gunungpereng sudah berjalan dengan cukup baik, hal ini dibuktikan dengan sikap dan perilaku peserta didik yang telah sesuai dengan indikator yang perlu dicapai untuk mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan dalam mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program P5 bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar. The presence of the P5 program as part of the independent curriculum is a form of support for the world of education, especially character education. P5 is a co-curricular activity designed to balance intracurricular activities and strengthen student character and competence. The aim of holding the P5 program is to answer the problems that students will face in everyday life. This research aims to analyze the cultivation of environmentally caring characters through the P5 program in Class IV SDN 5 Gunungpereng. Starting from planning and implementation activities, implications, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in cultivating environmentally caring characters through the P5 program. The research method used is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Participants in the research included class teachers and class IV students at SDN 5 Gunungpereng. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman concept, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research show that the process of developing environmentally caring character is very diverse, one of which is the P5 program. This program can develop students' environmentally caring character through a series of activities such as waste management. integration of environmental materials, waste recycling, and other special programs. Based on the results of research conducted, the development of environmentally caring character through the P5 program in Class IV SDN 5 Gunungpereng has gone quite well, this is proven by the attitudes and behavior of students which are in accordance with the indicators that need to be achieved to develop environmentally caring character. This research can provide insight into developing environmentally caring character through the P5 program for elementary school students.
