Abstract
Kecerdasan visual spasial adalah salah satu kecerdasan dari kecerdasan majemuk yang dikemukakan oleh Howard Gardner. Kecerdasan visual spasial merupakan kecerdasan yang penting untuk diberi rangsangan agar kecerdasan visual spasial anak lebih optimal. Salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan visual spasial yaitu dengan pembuatan prakarya, kegiatan seni mozaik merupakan kegiatan yang termasuk pembuatan prakarya. Untuk membuat seni mozaik anak dituntut untuk menuangkan ide yang ada dalam pikirannya menjadi bentuk visual. Peneliti memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan seni mozaik terhadap kecerdasan visual spasial pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Tk Puspa Giri Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Pre-experimental dan jenis desain penelitiannya yaitu One-Group-Pretest-Posttest. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan kelompok B1 di Tk Puspa Giri. Teknik pengambilan sample penelitian ini menggunakan sample jenuh dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 14 orang yang terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 9 anak perempuan. Instrument pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi serta dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data yaitu dengan analisis data deskriptif dan analisis data inferensial. Dari hasil uji Ngain terdapat perubahan yang sigifikan dari hasil pretest ke hasil posttest. Pada uji beda diguanakan uji Wilcoxon mendapatkan hasil Asymp.sig kurang dari 0,05 maka ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan seni mozaik dapat berpengaruh terhadap kecerdasan visual spasial anak usia 5-6 tahun di Tk Puspa Giri Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Visual-spatial intelligence is one of the multiple intelligences proposed by Howard Gardner. Visual spatial intelligence is an intelligence that is important to stimulate so that children's visual spatial intelligence is more optimal. One way to develop visual spatial intelligence is by making crafts, mosaic art activities are activities that include craft making. To make mosaic art, children are required to express the ideas in their minds into visual form. Researchers aim to determine the effect of mosaic art activities on visual spatial intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at Puspa Giri Kindergarten, Tasikmalaya Regency. In this research, the researcher used a quantitative approach with the Pre-experimental method and the type of research design was One-Group-Pretest-Posttest. The population in this study was group B1 at Puspa Giri Kindergarten. The sampling technique for this research used saturated samples with a total sample of 14 people consisting of 5 boys and 9 girls. The instruments in this research are observation and documentation. The data processing technique is descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. From the results of the Ngain test, there were significant changes from the pretest results to the posttest results. In hypothesis testing, the Wilcoxon test was used to get Asymp.sig results of less than 0.05, so ha was accepted. So, it can be concluded that mosaic art activities can influence the visual spatial intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Puspa Giri Kindergarten, Tasikmalaya Regency.
