Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode teams games tournament berbantuan quizwhizzer pada materi alat pembayaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pemahaman konsep dalam bentuk tes pilihan ganda. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan statistika parametrik melalui uji paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil: (1) Secara umum kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata pretest posttest eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (2) terdapat perbedaan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di kelas eksperimen sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode teams games tournament berbantuan quizwhizzer, dan (3) terdapat perbedaan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode teams games tournament berbantuan quizwhizzer dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah. This research was motivated by the low understanding of the concept of students in class X of SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the cooperative learning model with the teams games tournament method assisted by quizwhizzer on payment instrument materials. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The instrument used was in the form of a concept comprehension test in the form of a multiple-choice test. The research hypothesis was tested using parametric statistics through paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results of the study were as follows: (1) In general, the students' ability to understand concepts in the experimental and control classes was in the medium category with the average score of the pretest posttest of the experimental class higher than that of the control class (2) there was a difference in the level of students' understanding of concepts in economics subjects in the experimental class before and after learning using a cooperative learning model with the Teams Games Tournament method assisted by Quizwhizzer, and (3) there was a difference in the level of students' understanding of concepts in economics subjects between experimental classes that used the cooperative learning model with the Teams Games Tournament assisted by Quizwhizzer with a control class that uses a lecture learning method.
