Abstract

Kabupaten Subang yang konsisten menyumbang jumlah kunjungan wisatawan terbanyak kedua di Jawa Barat selama 3 tahun berturut-turut, memiliki jumlah akomodasi berbintang paling sedikit, yaitu sebanyak tujuh akomodasi yang terdiri atas lima akomodasi berbintang tiga dan dua akomodasi berbintang dua. Pada 2023, kunjungan wisatawan ke akomodasi di Kabupaten Subang mencapai 5.953.952 wisatawan dengan rata-rata lama menginap 1,41 hari. Wisatawan hanya diakomodasi oleh 2477 kamar serta 3597 tempat tidur, yang merupakan gabungan dari akomodasi berbintang dan non-bintang, sehingga kekurangan tempat tidur mencapai 45%. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah mengembangkan fasilitas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan akomodasi di samping fasilitas yang sudah tersedia. Metode deskriptif-kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisa strategi dalam membangun akomodasi yang sesuai dengan standar sekaligus dapat menanamkan nilai kesadaran akan lingkungan pada pengunjung, dengan didukung oleh data-data yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil studi banding maupun survei ke lokasi tapak. Dalam hal ini, eco-hotel resort bintang empat, Sari Ater Eco-Luxury Resort Hotel, dengan daya tarik menenangkan seperti gunung, perkebunan teh, pertanian holtikultura, dan air panas alami Ciater, menjadi wadah bagi tamu di Subang untuk mempelajari, mengagumi, dan menikmati bentang alam, serta bentuk-bentuk manifestasi budaya masyarakat yang ada secara dekat (eco-tourism). Ditunjang oleh arsitektur organik yang merepresentasikan bentang alam Subang, diharapkan Sari Ater Eco-Luxury Resort Hotel mampu menyinergikan desain dengan sumber daya alam yang ada untuk mengatasi isu perancangan, dimana isu terkait tiga aspek, yaitu desain, fungsional, dan operasional, menjadi masalah utama. Subang Regency, which has consistently contributed the second highest number of tourist visits in West Java for 3 consecutive years, has the fewest number of star-rated accommodations, namely seven accommodations consisting of five three-star accommodations and two two-star accommodations. In 2023, tourist visits to accommodation in Subang Regency will reach 5,953,952 tourists with an average length of stay of 1.41 days. Tourists are only accommodated by 2477 rooms and 3597 beds, which is a combination of star and non-star accommodation, so the bed shortage reaches 45%. The aim of this design is to develop facilities to meet the need for accommodation in addition to the facilities already available. The descriptive-qualitative method is used to analyze strategies for building accommodation that meets standards and can also instill the value of environmental awareness in visitors, supported by data obtained based on the results of comparative studies and surveys at site locations. In this case, the four-star eco-hotel resort, Sari Ater Eco-Luxury Resort Hotel, with its soothing attractions such as mountains, tea plantations, horticultural farms and Ciater natural hot springs, is a place for guests in Subang to learn, admire and enjoy the natural landscape, as well as forms of cultural manifestations of local communities (eco-tourism). Supported by organic architecture that represents the natural landscape of Subang, it is hoped that the Sari Ater Eco-Luxury Resort Hotel will be able to synergize design with existing natural resources to overcome design issues, where issues related to three aspects, namely design, functional and operational, are the main problems.
