Abstract
Perkembangan zaman saat ini menimbulkan kemerosotan akhlak pada suatu generasi yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor sehingga sangat penting menanamkan karakter religious pada anak usia dini. Sebagai pendidik tentunya memiliki peranan yang sangat penting walaupun anak lebih banyak waktu di rumah bersama orang tuanya. Tetapi hal ini menjadi tantangan bagi pendidik untuk memberikan metode pembelajaran karakter religious di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keteladanan guru dalam pembentukan karakter religious anak usia dini di RA Persis 56. Metode penelitian yang diguanakn adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu satu orang guru dan satu orang kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keteladanan guru sangat mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter religious anak usia dini. Guru di RA Persis 56 menggunakan strategi pembelajaran pembiasaan yang dilakukan setiap hari seperti melakukan sholat duha, doa bersama, cerita islami, dan contoh perilaku sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, keteladanan guru sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter religious anak usia dini, dan penerapan strategi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan praktik nilai religious pada anak. The current era's development has led to a decline in moral values in a generation, caused by various factors, making it very important to instill religious character in early childhood. As educators, they certainly play a very important role, even though children spend more time at home with their parents. However, this becomes a challenge for educators to provide religious character education methods in schools. This study aims to analyze the role model of teachers in forming the religious character of early childhood at RA Persis 56. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were one teacher and one school principal. The results showed that the role model of teachers greatly influences the formation of the religious character of early childhood. Teachers at RA Persis 56 Tasikmalaya use habituation learning strategies carried out daily, such as performing Duha prayers, praying together, Islamic stories, and examples of daily behavior. Thus, the role model of teachers is very important in shaping the religious character of early childhood, and the application of the right strategies can enhance the understanding and practice of religious values in children.
