    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum adanya bahan ajar yang dapat menunjang
    pembelajaran pada materi aljabar di tingkat sekolah dasar. Selain itu, peserta didik
    kesulitan dalam memahami konsep aljabar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk
    mengembangkan bahan ajar pada materi aljabar di tingkat sekolah dasar. Adapun
    penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Educational Design Research (EDR)
    dari McKenney & Reaves yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap analisis dan
    eksplorasi, tahap desain dan konstruksi, dan tahap evaluasi dan refleksi. Penelitian
    ini menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang
    digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Subjek penelitian adalah
    peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya
    kebutuhan bahan ajar pada materi aljabar. Kemudian, desain bahan ajar dirancang
    dalam bentuk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) untuk dua pertemuan dengan
    berdasarkan pada Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) yang telah dirumuskan.
    Hasil validasi bahan ajar yang dikembangkan kepada ahli materi dan desain
    menunjukkan kriteria kelayakan yang sangat layak. Dalam implementasinya, bahan
    ajar yang dikembangkan mampu memberikan panduan dan memfasilitasi peserta
    didik dalam melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran pada materi aljabar. Selain itu,
    bahan ajar tersebut juga mendapatkan respons sangat layak dari pengguna
    berdasarkan angket yang diberikan. Melalui adanya desain bahan ajar ini, dapat
    memudahkan guru dalam melaksanakan tujuan pembelajaran

    This research was motivated by the absence of teaching materials that could support learning in algebra material at the elementary school level. Apart from that, students have difficulty understanding algebra concepts. The aim of this research is to develop teaching materials on algebra at the elementary school level. This research uses the Educational Design Research (EDR) research method from McKenney & Reaves which consists of three stages, namely the analysis and exploration stage, the design and construction stage, and the evaluation and reflection stage. This research uses a realistic mathematical approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research subjects were fourth grade elementary school students. The results of the research show that there is a need for teaching materials on algebra material. Then, the teaching material was designed in the form of a Student Worksheet (LKPD) for two meetings based on the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) that had been formulated. The results of the validation of teaching materials developed by material and design experts show that the feasibility criteria are very feasible. In its implementation, the developed teaching materials are able to provide guidance and facilitate students in carrying out learning activities on algebra material. Apart from that, this teaching material also received a very decent response from users based on the questionnaire provided. Through the design of this teaching material, it can make it easier for teachers to implement learning objectives.
