Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik, kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan metode mengajar guru yang kurang bervariasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas X Soshum 2, X Soshum 3 dan X Soshum 4 di SMA Laboratorium-Percontohan UPI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang pada setiap pertemuan di setiap kelasnya diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda menggunakan metode problem based learning dan metode discovery learning serta metode pembelajaran diskusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis dalam bentuk esai. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji mann-whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik antara kelas X Soshum 2, X Soshum 3 dan X Soshum 4 yang menggunakan metode yang berbeda pada setiap pertemuan. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dapat meningkat dengan menggunakan metode problem based learning dan metode discovery learning. Dari penelitian tersebut dinyatakan bahwa metode problem based learning dan metode discovery learning lebih sesuai diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dari pada metode diskusi. Metode problem based learning dan metode discovery learning dinyatakan efektif dan dapat digunakan sebagai alternative metode pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran ekonomi materi koperasi. The problem in this study is the low of creative thinking ability of students, less active in the learning process and teachers' teaching methods are less variable. This research was conducted at the class X Soshum 2, X Soshum 3 and X Soshum 4 in high school Laboatorium-Percontohan UPI. This study aims to determine the differences increase creative thinking skills learners at every meeting in every class was given a different treatment method that used problem based learning, discovery learning and discussion learning methods. This study used a quasi-experimental methods (quasi-experiment). The data was collected in the form of an essay writing test. Data processing was done with the Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that there are differences in creative thinking ability of students between classes X Soshum 2, X Soshum 3 and X Soshum 4 which used different methods at each meeting. creative thinking ability can be increased by using problem-based learning and discovery learning method. From these studies showed that the method of problem based learning and discovery learning method is more appropriate to be applied to enhance the learner's creative thinking ability rather than discussion method. Problem based learning method and discovery learning method is declared effective and can be used as an alternative learning method on economic subjects cooperative material.
