Abstract
Feeleminded childern experience nuisance in their aptness and that delays their motor ability development. In early imbecile feebleminded child named RK, his difficulties in the motor ability particulary in locomotor skill such as walking, running, and jumping makes him dragging his feet when he walks and runs. Due to that condition, it is needed a special learning strategy to diminish the difficulties. Creative dance is one of the special learning strategies that can be used for early childern when learning motor ability in a joyful way, that because it has music and song elements. In early childern development, they like something who has art, music, and song on it. The purpose on this reseach is to investigate the effect of creative dance toward locomotor enhancement on early imbecile feebleminded with RK as a respondent. This research shows that creative dance has significant effect towards locomotor enhancement of early imbecile feebleminded (RK). This can be proven through enhancement in each fase from fase one which is baseline-1 and intervention and baseline-2 which is an enhancement in respondent skill such as walking, running, and jumping. Anak tunagrahita mengalami gangguan dalam kecerdasan sehingga akibat dari kecerdasannya perkembangan motoriknya mengalami keterlambatan. Pada anak tunagrahita sedang usia dini yang bernama RK, dimana motorik kasarnya yaitu lokomotor mengalami hambatan dalam berjalan, berlari, dan melompat, di mana cara berjalan dan berlari anak digeser. Karena itu dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran khusus supaya hambatan tersebut bisa dikurangi. Tari kreatif adalah salah satu cara di mana pembelajaran khusus motorik anak usia dini akan terasa lebih menyenangkan, karena didalamnya memiliki unsur-unsur musik dan lagu. Di mana pada masa perkembangan anak usia dini, anak sangat menyukai hal yang berunsur seni, musik, dan lagu. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tari kreatif dapat meningkatkan lokomotor anak tunagrahita sedang yaitu RK dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen yaitu single subject research dengan menggunakan desain A-B-A. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan tari kreatif memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan lokomotor anak tunagrahita sedang (RK). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan pada setiap fase dari fase pertama baseline-1 kemudian intervensi dan baseline-2 yaitu adanya peningkat kemampuan subjek penelitian dalam berjalan, berlari, dan melompat
