Abstract
Kurangnya kepedulian serta kesadaran masyarakat terhadap lingkungan sekitar sering menyebabkan terjadinya permasalahan yang berdampak terhadap kualitas serta kondisi lingkunga. Hal inilah yang menjadi perhatian bagi pemerintah sehingga berkomitmen melakukan perubahan dan gerakan pengelolaan serta perlindungan lingkungan melalui pendidikan. Oleh sebab itu, melalui kerja sama Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup Republik Indonesia dan Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia membuat sebuah program Adiwiyata sebagai salah satu solusi menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis program Adiwiyata di SDN Mancogeh dalam pembentukan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan sehingga dapat mengetahui bagaimana keberhasilan SDN Mancogeh dalam mengembangkan program Adiwiyata serta dampak dari program Adiwiyata tersebut dalam membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan peserta didik SDN Mancogeh. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun yang menjadi sumber informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, koordinator program Adiwiyata, guru kelas, peserta didik, serta orang tua. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa: 1) SDN Mancogeh berhasil mengembangkan program Adiwiyata dilingkungan sekolah 2) Program Adiwiyata memiliki dampak positif terhadap pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan di SDN Mancogeh. Lack of public concern and awareness of the surrounding environment often causes problems that impact the quality and condition of the environment. This is a concern for the government so that it is committed to making changes and movements to manage and protect the environment through education. Therefore, through collaboration between the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia, an Adiwiyata program was created as a solution to foster environmentally caring character. The aim of this research is to analyze the Adiwiyata program at SDN Mancogeh in the formation of environmentally caring character values so that we can find out how successful SDN Mancogeh is in developing the Adiwiyata program and the impact of the Adiwiyata program in forming the environmentally caring character of SDN Mancogeh students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The sources of informants in this research were the school principal, Adiwiyata program coordinator, class teachers, students and parents. The results of this research showed that: 1) SDN Mancogeh has successfully developed the Adiwiyata program in the school environment. 2) The Adiwiyata program has a positive impact on the formation of environmentally caring character at SDN Mancogeh.
