Abstract
Motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Cimahi masih relatif rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe index card match terhadap motivasi belajar. Menggunakan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test post-test group design. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas XI G-3 (kelas eksperimen) dan XI G-2 (kelas kontrol). Model pembelajaran tipe index card match sebagai variabel dependent memiliki sintaks menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan memotivasi, menyajikan informasi, mengorganisasikan siswa ke dalam beberapa kelompok belajar, membimbing siswa belajar kelompok, evaluasi, dan memberikan penghargaan. Motivasi belajar sebagai variabel independent memiliki indikator adanya 1) hasrat dan keinginan untuk berhasil, 2) dorongan dan kebutuhan dalam belajar, 3) harapan dan cita-cita masa depan, 4) penghargaan dalam belajar, 5) kegiatan yang menarik dalam belajar, 6) lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu observasi, angket, dan tes. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment pada kelas eksperimen dengan hasil uji diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <0,000). 2) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah tanpa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe index card match pada pembelajaran geografi di kelas kontrol dengan hasil uji diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <0,000. 3) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <0,002. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe index card match berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. The use of models in learning is quite important, because models can increase attractiveness, absorption and maximize student interaction in understanding learning material. One of these learning models is cooperative with the index card match type. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the index card match type cooperative learning model on learning motivation. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test group design. The dependent variable is the index card match type learning model and the independent variable is students' learning motivation. Indicators of learning motivation are 1) the desire and desire to succeed, 2) the encouragement and need for learning, 3) the hope and aspirations for the future, 4) the appreciation for learning, 5) the existence of interesting activities in learning, 6) there is a conducive learning environment. The research subjects are class XI G-3 (experimental class) and XI G-2 (control class). The instruments used are observation, questionnaires and tests. The data in this study were analyzed using the K-S normality test, Levene statistical homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (paired sample t-test, ndependent sample t�test). The results of the research show that: 1) There is a difference in learning motivation before and after being given treatment in the experimental class with the results of the paired sample t-test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) <0.000) 2) There is a difference in learning motivation before and after and after without the use of the index card match type cooperative learning model in geography learning in the control class with the results of the paired sample t-test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) <0.000 3) Based on the results of the independent sample t-test hypothesis test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) <0.002, which means there is a difference in students' learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. Thus, the index card match type cooperative learning model influences students' learning motivation.
