Abstract

Kebun Raya Bogor (KRB) merupakan salah satu destinasi yang cukup populer di Kota Bogor, dan merupakan destinasi yang bisa dijadikan opsi liburan keluarga, rekreasi, maupun field trip TK dan SD, maka diperlukan sarana yang mendukung dan sesuai dengan karakteristik wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi fisik dan kondisi non-fisik KRB, serta mengetahui preferensi wisatawan terhadap KRB sebagai sarana rekreasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada 70 wisatawan yang berkunjung di Kebun Raya Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi fisik dan non-fisik KRB keduanya mendapatkan hasil pada kategori baik, dan preferensi wisatawan terhadap fungsi rekreasi KRB berada pada kategori setuju. Kondisi fisik berkolerasi dengan preferensi wisatawan terhadap fungsi rekreasi KRB pada kelas korelasi kuat (0,758) dan kondisi non-fisik juga berkolerasi dengan preferensi wisatawan terhadap fungsi rekreasi KRB pada kelas korelasi kuat (0,768). Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan Pemerintah Kota Bogor dan Pengelola KRB dapat meningkatkan pelayanan dan fasilitas, dan diharapkan masyarakat Kota dan Kabupaten Bogor meningkatkan penggunaan hutan kota sesuai dengan fungsi rekreasinya. Bogor Botanical Gardens (KRB) is a popular destination in Bogor, that can be used as a family holiday option, recreation, or kindergarten and elementary school field trip, so facilities are needed that support and suit the characteristics of tourists. This research aims to determine the physical and non-physical conditions of the KRB, as well as determine tourists' preferences for the KRB as its recreational function. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with quantitative approach. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 70 tourists at the Bogor Botanical Gardens. The research results showed that the physical and non-physical conditions of the KRB both obtained results in the good category, and tourists' preferences for the recreational function of the KRB were in the agreed category. Physical conditions correlate with tourists' preferences for the KRB's recreational function in the strong correlation class (0.758) and non-physical conditions also correlate with tourists' preferences for the KRB's recreational functions in the strong correlation class (0.768). The recommendations from this research are that it is hoped that the Bogor City Government and KRB Management can improve services and facilities, and for people of Bogor hopefully can increase the use of city forests (KRB) according to its recreational function.
