Abstract

Pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan islam khas Indonesia yang memiliki sejarah panjang dalam berkontribusi dalam mencerdaskan anak bangsa. Proses pendidikan di pesantren tidak saja menyelenggarakan pendidikan keislaman secara khusus akan tetapi dalam perkembanganya menyelenggarakan pendidikan formal. Di pesantren, kemandirian dan kedisiplinan diajarkan melalui aturan yang ketat, meskipun demikian, sering terjadi pelanggaran terhadap peraturan oleh santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kepatuhan terhadap peraturan, yaitu konformitas teman sebaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi untuk mengkaji pola dan besaran pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya terhadap kepatuhan santri. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terhadap sampel penelitian berupa santri dari tiga pesantren di Kabupaten Bekasi dengan jumlah 343 santri. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa tingkat konformitas teman sebaya dalam melaksanakan tata tertib pesantren mencapai 75,1%, sementara tingkat kepatuhan santri mencapai 79,1%. Konformitas mempengaruhi kepatuhan santri secara positif dengan tingkat pengaruh sebesar 27,9%. Kepatuhan tinggi pada santri berkaitan dengan teman sebayanya, semakin tinggi konformitas pada teman sebaya melaksanakan peraturan maka semakin patuh santri terhadap tata tertib. Islamic boarding schools are typical Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that have a long history of contributing to educating the nation's children. The educational process in pesantren not only organizes Islamic education specifically but also in its development organizes formal education. In Islamic boarding schools, autonomous and discipline are taught through strict rules, however, there are often violations of regulations by students. This study aims to examine the factors that affect compliance with regulations, namely peer conformity. This study uses a quantitative approach with regression analysis to examine the pattern and magnitude of the influence of peer conformity on student compliance. Data was collected using a questionnaire on a research sample of students from three Islamic boarding schools in Bekasi Regency with a total of 343 students. The results of the study found that the level of peer conformity in implementing pesantren discipline reached 75.1%, while the level of student compliance reached 79.1%. Conformity positively affects student compliance with the level of influence of 27.9%. High obedience to students related to their peers, the higher the conformity in peers implementing the rules, the more obedient students are to the rules.
