Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi informasi yang membawa
perubahan terhadap akses informasi dengan menyediakan platform digital yang mudah
digunakan, salah satunya adalah perpustakaan. Teknologi informasi mendorong perpustakaan
untuk memanfaatkan sistem digital. Mobile library atau m-library merupakan sebuah aplikasi
yang menghubungkan layanan perpustakaan dengan perangkat mobile. Dengan adanya
pengaruh dari teknologi informasi, Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kota Depok merancang
aplikasi bernama e-Perpus Kota Depok sebagai upaya dalam menyebarluaskan layanan
perpustakaan dalam membantu memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pemustaka. Tujuan penelitian
ini secara umum adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan penggunaan aplikasi e-Perpus
Kota Depok dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka. Metode penelitian ini
menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, teknik
pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Populasi dalam
penelitian ini merupakan pengguna aplikasi e-Perpus Kota Depok selama bulan Januari hingga
Juli tahun 2024. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan simple random
sampling dengan jumlah 91 orang sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa
terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara penggunaan aplikasi e-Perpus Kota Depok dengan
pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka dengan tingkat korelasi sebesar 0,618. Aplikasi e�Perpus Kota Depok dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi memiliki hubungan yang
signifikan antar variabel. Pada aspek penggunaan aplikasi e-Perpus Kota Depok yang diukur
menggunakan technonology acceptance model dengan indikator persepsi kebermanfaatan dan
kemudahan pengguna berada pada kategori sangat baik. Kemudian, pada pemenuhan
kebutuhan informasi dengan indikator kebutuhan informasi mutakhir, kebutuhan informasi
rutin, kebutuhan informasi mendalam, dan kebutuhan informasi sekilas berada pada kategori
baik. Hal tersebut menunjukkan penggunaan aplikasi e-Perpus Kota Depok telah mampu
memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pengguna.

This research is inspired by the development of information technology that brings changes to
information access by providing easy-to-use digital platforms, one of which is the library.
Information technology encourages libraries to utilize digital systems. A mobile library or m�library is an application that connects library services with mobile devices. With the result of
information technology, the Office of Depok City Archives and Library designed an
application called e-Perpus Kota Depok as an effort to disseminate library services in helping
to fulfil library users’ information needs The method used in this study was a correlational
research design with a quantitative approach, with distributing questionnaires as a data
collection method. The population in this study are users of the e-Perpus Kota Depok
application from January to July 2024. The sampling technique in this study is simple random
sampling with a total of 91 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a
significant relationship between the use of the e-Perpus Kota Depok application and the
fulfilment of library information needs as seen from the correlation level of 0.618. The e-Perpus
Kota Depok application with the fulfilment of information needs has a significant relation
between variables. The usage aspect of the e-Perpus Kota Depok application was measured
using the technology acceptance model with indicators of perceived usefulness and perceived
ease of use, which is in the very good category. Then, the fulfilment of information needs with
indicators namely, the up-to-date information needs, regular information needs, in-depth
information needs, and information needs at a glance, is in the good category. This means that
the use e-Perpus Kota Depok application has been able to fulfil users' information needs.
