Abstract

Keterampilan membaca adalah keterampilan dasar untuk membuka pintu literasi seorang individu. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menjumpai adanya permasalahan keterampilan membaca pada peserta didik fase C yaitu keterbatasan bahan bacaan dan keterbatasan memahami kosakata baru. Dengan latarbelakang permasalahan tersebut, peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa perpustakaan digital dengan tujuan media tersebut mampu memberikan manfaat terhadap kemampuan membaca peserta didik dalam pembelajaran membaca di fase C. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Design and Development (D&D). Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini berdasarkan wawancara dan validasi yang didapatkan dari narasumber adalah 97,14% media ini layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran keterampilan membaca dikelas V. Media pembelajaran berupa perpustakaan digital ini memberi hasil baik pada pembelajaran membaca dikelas V ditandai dengan adanya motivasi belajar dan antusias belajar peserta didik terhadap media bacaan secara digital. Reading skills are basic skills to open the door to an individual's literacy. In this study, researchers found problems with reading skills in phase C students, namely limited reading materials and limited understanding of new vocabulary. With the background of these problems, researchers developed learning media in the form of a digital library with the aim that the media could provide benefits to students' reading skills in reading learning in phase C. This study used a qualitative method with a Design and Development (D&D) approach. The findings of this study based on interviews and validation obtained from informants were 97.14% that this media was suitable for use as a learning media for reading skills in grade V. This learning media in the form of a digital library gave good results in reading learning in grade V, marked by the motivation to learn and enthusiasm for learning students towards digital reading media.
