Abstract

Sektor pariwisata menjadi salah satu pemasok ekonomi terbesar di Indonesia karena dapat meningkatkan devisa negara dan juga menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan. Pariwisata yang terdapat di Sumedang didominasi oleh wisata alam. Namun fasilitas akomodasi yang tersedia tidak mencukupi sehingga perlu adanya penambahan. Salah satu fasilitas akomodasi yang cocok untuk menghubungkan dengan wisata alamnya yaitu vila & resor. Dalam perancangan vila & resor ini berfokus pada pemenuhan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan serta menghubungkan langsung dengan wisata alam di sekitarnya. Dalam merespon hal tersebut, perancangan ini menggunakan konsep Restorative Environment Design yang berfokus pada restorasi indera manusia dan kesehatan mental melalui alam sekitar. Selain itu, konsep ini berkaitan dengan alam, sehingga dapat menciptakan site development, gubahan massa, serta penataan ruang dalam yang sesuai dengan parameter Restorative Environment Design. Diharapkan perancangan ini dapat menarik wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara berwisata ke Sumedang, menciptakan suasana yang nyaman, dan dapat merestorasi kesehatan wisatawan yang berkunjung. The tourism sector has become one of the largest contributors to Indonesia's economy because it can increase foreign exchange and create job opportunities. Tourism in Sumedang is dominated by nature-based attractions. However, the available accommodation facilities are insufficient, so there is a need for expansion. One suitable accommodation facility to connect with the natural attractions is villa and resor. The design of these villa and resort focuses on meeting the required facilities and directly connecting with the surrounding natural attractions. In response to this, the design uses the concept of Restorative Environment Design, which focuses on restoring human senses and mental health through the surrounding nature. Moreover, this concept is related to nature, enabling the creation of site development, mass structuring, and interior arrangements that align with the parameters of Restorative Environment Design. It is hoped that this design will attract both local and international tourists to visit Sumedang, create a comfortable atmosphere, and restore the health of visiting tourists.
