Abstract
The large-scale social restriction policy (PSBB) during the Covid-19 pandemic requires all levels of society to limit outdoor activities and as much as possible carry out all activities related to work or school online or in a network. Indirectly, this policy has the potential to increase sedentary behavior among children. The news of deaths caused by the pandemic also puts mental pressure on the community, especially students in densely populated areas, as the spread of the pandemic is more likely in densely populated environments. This research was conducted to confirm the level of physical activity and mental health of students after the Covid-19 pandemic in densely populated areas. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, involving 200 fifth-grade students from elementary schools. The level of physical activity was obtained from the results of processing the PAQ-C (Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children). While the mental health level of students was obtained from the results of processing the SDQ questionnaire (Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire). The results of this research showed that the Skor of physical activity level for boys was higher than girls. Both boys and girls had a high level of mental health. Although the overall average Skor of physical activity level was in the moderate category, it cannot be confirmed that these students have met the WHO-recommended movement needs. Keywords : Densely populated, Mental health, Physical activity.
