Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pentingnya integritas, khususnya kejujuran, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab, dalam membentuk karakter individu yang kuat dan berkontribusi positif bagi masyarakat. Hal ini dapat dilaksanakan secara terpadu melalui proses pembelajaran, manajemen sekolah, dan kegiatan pembinaan kesiswaan melalui kegiatan budaya sekolah dan ekstrakurikuler. Pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran adalah pengenalan nilai-nilai, fasilitasi diperolehnya kesadaran akan pentingnya nilai-nilai, dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai ke dalam tingkah laku peserta didik sehari-hari melalui proses pembelajaran, baik berlangsung di dalam maupun di luar kelas pada semua mata pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak implementasi program Google for Education Reference School di SMPIT Al Haraki terhadap pengembangan karakter integritas siswa. Melalui studi kasus mendalam, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana penggunaan Chromebook dan Google Workspace dalam proses pembelajaran mempengaruhi nilai-nilai kejujuran, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi selama periode 2019-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Google for Education telah berjalan efektif dan sebagai sebuah platform yang dapat mendukung pengembangan karakter siswa secara holistik, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan karakter integritas siswa. Siswa melaporkan peningkatan kesadaran akan etika digital dan nilai-nilai kejujuran dalam mengerjakan tugas. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi ini juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program Google for Education Reference School di SMPIT Al Haraki merupakan model yang efektif dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan pengembangan karakter siswa. Implementasi program serupa dapat dipertimbangkan oleh sekolah-sekolah lain untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan di era digital. This research aims to examine the importance of integrity, especially honesty, discipline and responsibility, in forming strong individual characters and making positive contributions to society. This can be implemented in an integrated manner through the learning process, school management, and student development activities through school culture and extracurricular activities. Character education in the learning process is the introduction of values, facilitating awareness of the importance of values, and internalizing the values to in the daily behavior of students through the learning process, both inside and outside the classroom in all subjects. This research aims to evaluate the impact of implementing the Google for Education Reference School program at SMPIT Al Haraki on the development of students' integrity character. Through in-depth case studies, this research analyzes how the use of Chromebooks and Google Workspace in the learning process influences students' values of honesty, discipline and responsibility. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation during the 2019-2024 period. The results of the research show that the Google for Education program has been running effectively and as a platform that can support the holistic development of student character, while improving the quality of learning and making a significant contribution in improving student character integrity. Students reported increased awareness of digital ethics and the value of honesty in completing assignments. Apart from that, the use of this technology also contributes to improving student learning outcomes. This research concludes that the Google for Education Reference School program at SMPIT Al Haraki is an effective model for integrating technology with student character development. Other schools can consider implementing a similar program to improve the quality of learning and prepare students to face challenges in the digital era.
