Abstract
Anak tunarungu pada kelas V sangat sulit dalam mempelajari pelajaran IPA tentang wujud benda karena banyak pengertian dan proses yang bersifat abstrak dan kurangnya visualisasi yang jelas, sehingga anak tunarungu memerlukan bahan ajar yang memberikan visualisasi yang jelas bagi anak tunarungu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada anak tunarungu. Penelitian ini fokus pada pengembangan bahan ajar multimedia interaktif yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada anak tunarungu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancangan bahan ajar multimedia interaktif terhadap hasil belajar IPA padan anak tunarungu dan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar multimedia interaktif pada anak tunarungu kelas V. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Mix Method, terdiri dari tiga tahapan Pertama, studi pendahuluan untuk menganalisis kondisi objektif kemampuan pembelajaran IPA wujud benda serta kondisi objektif penggunaan bahan ajar yang digunakan di kelas. Kedua, rancangan pengembangan bahan ajar multimedia interaktif melalui tahap validasi oleh parah ahli dan praktisi. Ketiga, Meguji perbedaan hasil dua rerata sampel berpasangan dengan menggunakan eksperimen one grup pre test -post test design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari enam anak tunarungu kelas V di SLB N 1 Padang. Hasil penelitian ini berupa menunjukan bahwa Pengembangan bahan ajar multimedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam pada Anak Tunarungu. Children with hearing impairment in fifth grade face significant challenges in learning science lessons on the concept of objects due to the abstract nature of many concepts and processes, as well as the lack of clear visualization. Therefore, children with hearing impairment require instructional materials that provide clear visualizations to enhance learning outcomes. This research focuses on the development of interactive multimedia instructional materials aimed at improving learning outcomes in Natural Sciences for children with hearing impairment. The study aims to determine the design of interactive multimedia instructional materials on science learning outcomes for children with hearing impairment and to assess the impact of using interactive multimedia instructional materials on fifth-grade children with hearing impairment. The research method employed is mixed-method, consisting of three stages: First, a preliminary study to analyze the objective conditions of object-based science learning abilities and the objective conditions of the use of instructional materials in the classroom. Second, the development of interactive multimedia instructional materials through validation stages by experts and practitioners. Third, testing the difference in mean results of paired samples using a one-group pretest-posttest design experiment. The research subjects consist of six fifth-grade children with hearing impairment at SLB N 1 Padang. The results of this study indicate that the development of interactive multimedia instructional materials can improve learning outcomes in natural sciences for children with hearing impairment.
