Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pola Asuh dan Hardiness Terhadap Kecenderungan Depresi Pada Mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 421 mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda untuk melihat besarnya pengaruh Pola Asuh dan Hardiness Terhadap Kecenderungan Depresi Pada Mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pola Asuh Authoritative dan hardiness tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecenderungan depresi pada mahasiswa di Kota Bandung; (2) Pola Asuh Authoritarian dan Hardiness memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecenderungan depresi pada mahasiswa di Kota Bandung; (3) Pola Asuh permissive dan hardiness tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecenderungan depresi pada mahasiswa di Kota Bandung; (4) Pola Asuh Rejecting Neglecting dan Hardiness tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecenderungan depresi pada mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. This research aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns and hardiness on the tendency of depression in students in the city of Bandung. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The respondents in this research were 421 students in Bandung City. The sample in this study was selected using accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis and multiple regression to see the magnitude of the influence of parenting patterns and hardiness on the tendency of depression among students in the city of Bandung. The results of this study show that: (1) Authoritative parenting and hardiness have no influence on the tendency to depression in students in the city of Bandung; (2) Authoritarian and Hardiness parenting styles have an influence on the tendency to depression in students in the city of Bandung; (3) Permissive parenting and hardiness have no influence on the tendency to depression in students in the city of Bandung; (4) Rejecting Neglecting and Hardiness parenting patterns have no influence on the tendency to depression in students in the city of Bandung.
