Abstract

Identifikasi dan analisis masalah di lapangan, menunjukan belum tersedianya media ajar operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah yang dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran secara optimal pada implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Media ajar yang ada di sekolah belum memuat komponen lengkap, maka diperlukan media ajar pendamping yang dapat melengkapi media ajar yang ada, sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk media ajar matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah pada kurikulum merdeka di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Design Based Research (DBR) berlandaskan pada model Reeves dengan empat prosedur penelitian, meliputi: 1) identifikasi dan analisis masalah oleh peneliti dan praktisi secara kolaboratif; 2) mengembangkan solusi yang didasarkan pada patokan teri, design principle, yang ada dan inovasi teknologi; 3) melakukan proses berulang untuk menguji dan memperbaiki solusi secara praktis; dan 4) refleksi untuk menghasilkan prinsip desain serta meningkatkan implementasi dari solusi secara praktis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, studi dokumentasi, observasi, validasi dan angket. Partisipan penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV. Penilaian produk media ajar oleh ahli terdiri dari penilaian ahli materi dengan perolehan nilai 90% dengan kategori sangat layak, penilaian ahli pedagogik dengan perolehan nilai 100% dengan kategori layak dan penilaian ahli media dengan perolehan 81,25% dengan kategori sangat layak. Uji coba media ajar dilakakukan sebanyak dua kali. Uji coba pertama, peserta didik memberikan respon positif dan pendidik memberikan respon positif. Uji coba ke dua, peserta didik dan pendidik memberikan respon sangat positif. Dengan demikian, simpulan bahwa produk media ajar penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Identification and analysis of problems in the field shows that there is no media available for teaching the operations of adding and subtracting whole numbers which can facilitate optimal learning in the implementation of the independent curriculum. The existing teaching media in schools does not yet contain complete components, so companion teaching media is needed that can complement the existing teaching media, so the aim of this research is to develop a mathematics teaching media product for addition and subtraction of whole numbers in the independent curriculum in class IV elementary schools. This research method uses Design Based Research (DBR) based on the Reeves model with four research procedures, including: 1) identification and analysis of problems by researchers and practitioners collaboratively; 2) develop solutions based on existing standards, design principles and technological innovation; 3) carry out an iterative process to practically test and refine the solution; and 4) reflection to produce design principles and improve practical implementation of solutions. Data was collected through interviews, documentation studies, observation, validation and questionnaires. Research participants were class IV students. The assessment of teaching media products by experts consists of material expert assessment with a score of 90% in the very feasible category, pedagogical expert assessment with a score of 100% in the feasible category and media expert assessment with a score of 81.25% in the very feasible category. Teaching media trials were carried out twice. In the first trial, students gave positive responses and educators gave positive responses. In the second trial, students and educators gave very positive responses. Thus, it can be concluded that the media product for teaching addition and subtraction of whole numbers is very suitable for use in learning.
