Abstract

Latar belakang: Isu global dalam kesiapan kerja saat ini bahwa pendidikan di SMK semakin menekankan pada hardskill dan kurang memberikan softskill. Pendidikan tinggi vokasi merupakan salah satu jenis pendidikan yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan keterampilan, kemampuan pemahaman, sikap dan kebiasaan kerja agar lulusannya siap kerja. Bimbingan karier di bidang kejuruan pendidikan adalah isu yang menarik, khususnya di era globalisasi saat ini, yang mana bimbingan karier bisa menyebabkan persaingan yang ketat di dunia bekerja. Pandangan tentang situasi saat ini tentang tantangan kesiapan kerja di industri otomotif serta dapat meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK rumpun otomotif dengan memberikan motivasi dan soft skill yang lebih dalam melalui pendekatan yang inovatif Pertanyaan penelitian: Pertanyaan penelitian tentang sejauh mana pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja, softskill, dan kesiapan kerja. pada siswa SMK rumpun otomotif.. Tujuan penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tiga faktor utama, yaitu motivasi kerja, soft skill dan kesiapan kerja, terhadap siswa SMK rumpun otomotif. Penelitian ini akan mengidentifikasi faktor yang memiliki pengaruh paling signifikan di antara ketiganya. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan terhadap siswa dari SMKS LPT Ciamis dan SMKN 2 Ciamis dipilih dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebar melalui googleform, pertanyaan ini seputar tentang motivasi kerja, softskill, dan kesiapan kerja digunakan untuk mendapat data. Analisis data dengan uji korelasi digunakan hubungan antara dua variabel dipelajari tanpa intervensi peneliti. Temuan penelitian: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa soft skill menjadi elemen terpenting dalam kesiapan kerja. Selain itu, uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa adahanya hubungan antara variabel motivasi kerja, soft skill dan kesiapan kerja.. Sehingga nilai siginifikansi soft skill menjadi faktor paling tinggi. ----- Background: The global issue in work readiness today is that education in vocational schools increasingly emphasizes hard skills and provides less soft skills. Vocational higher education is a type of education designed to develop skills, understanding abilities, attitudes and work habits so that graduates are ready to work. Career guidance in the field of vocational education is an interesting issue, especially in the current era of globalization, where career guidance can cause tight competition in the world of work. Views on the current situation of the challenges of work readiness in the automotive industry and can improve the work readiness of automotive vocational school students by providing deeper motivation and soft skills through an innovative approach. Research question: Research question about the extent of the significant influence between work motivation, soft skills, and work readiness. on automotive vocational school students. Research objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between three main factors, namely work motivation, soft skills and work readiness, on automotive vocational school students. This study will identify the factors that have the most significant influence among the three. Methods: The study was conducted on students from SMKS LPT Ciamis and SMKN 2 Ciamis selected in this study. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed via googleform, these questions about work motivation, soft skills, and work readiness were used to obtain data. Data analysis with correlation tests was used the relationship between two variables was studied without researcher intervention. Research findings: This study shows that soft skills are the most important element in work readiness. In addition, the correlation test shows that there is only a relationship between the variables of work motivation, soft skills and work readiness. So that the significance value of soft skills is the highest factor.
