Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru ekonomi sekolah menengah atas sekota serang. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi objek sasaran penelitian yaitu guru ekonomi di sekolah menengah atas sekota serang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Survey Eksplanatory. Dalam peneltian ini yang diteliti sebanyak 72 guru dari 24 sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan Skala Diferensial Semantic dan hasil analisis data serta uji persamaan regresi berganda dengan program SPSS 20.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kinerja guru ekonomi sekolah menengah atas sekota serang tergolong baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan bahwa secara simultan dan secara parsial variabel kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru ekonomi. Pada tingkat kompetensi yang berada pada katagori tinggi diharapkan guru mampu menjaga tingkat kompetensi tersebut bahkan lebih baik ditingkatkan pada penguasaan yang wajib dimiliki seorang guru, sedangkan untuk hasil kinerja guru secara keseluruhan berada pada katagori tinggi, diperlukan usaha yang lebih giat dan berupaya menghilangkan rasa malas untuk mencapai kinerja yang optimal. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi guru, motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru The purpose of this sudy is to the influence of teacher competence and the work motivation toward economics teacher of senior high school in serang. In this study target object is the study economics teacher at SMA Se-Serang. The method used in this study is a eksplanatory survey. In this study were examined as many as 72 teachers from 24 schools. Data collection tecniques by using a questionnaire and a semantic differntial scale data analysis and multiple regression equation test using SPSS 20. The result indicate that performance of the senior high school economics teachers as serang city quite well. Based on the findings of that research result obtained simultaneously or in partial. Teacher competence and the work motivation that support significant impact on the economics performance of the teacher. At high category of competence we have expected the teachers is able to maintain the level competence or even can be improved on better teaching that must be owned by teacher. For the over all result of teacher performance at the high category, there are required more effort and more work to eliminate the laziness to achieve optimal results.
