Abstract
Perubahan kurikulum merupakan salah satu upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan agar tidak tertinggal oleh bangsa lain. Untuk memahami kurikulum baru dalam pembelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti di SMP perlu adanya Analisa yang mendalam mengenai materi PAI dan Budi Pekerti pada kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam perubahan kurikulum 2006 menjadi kurikulum 2013 khususnya kurikulum PAI. Upaya tersebut meliputi latar belakang penyususnan kurikulum 2013. Perubahan yang mendasar antara kurikulum PAI 2006 dan kurikulum PAI 2013, serta memperbaharui muatan materi PAI dan Budi Pekerti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pertimbangan penggunaan metode ini adalah untuk mengungkap perubahan materi PAI 2006 menjadi materi PAI dan Budi Pekerti pada kurikulum 2013. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan trianggulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran mengenai latar belakang penyusunan kurikulum 2013 yaitu dengan mengacu pada dasar yuridis perubahan, latar belakang penyusunan dan tujuan penyusunan kurikulum 2013 adalah pada upaya penyederhanaan, dan tematik-intregratif. Perbedaan mendasar pada kurikulum PAI 2013 dan PAI 2006 terletak pada penamaan mata pelajaran, standar Kelulusan, Standar Isi, dan standar proses. Selain itu juga muatan materi PAI dan Budi Pekerti pada kurikulum 2013 mencakup Al-Qurꞌān-Hadiṡ, Aqīdah, Akhlak, Fiqih dan Sejarah peradaban Islam yang tematik dan terintegrasi. The change of curriculum is one of en effort to increase the quality of education itself, so that we won’t be left behind by other nation. To understand the new curriculum in Islamic education and character learning we need the visceral analysis about the matters of Islamic education and character in 2013 curriculum. This research have a purpose to describe efforts which have been done by the government in a term of changes the 2006 curriculum in to 2013 curriculum, especially Islamic education curriculum. Those efforts including the background of composing 2013 curriculum. The fundamental change between Islamic education 2006 curriculum with 2013 curriculum, and also renewal the composition of an Islamic education and character matters. This research uses qualitative approachment, descriptive method and trianggulation. The consideration of choosing this method is to reveal the change of an Islamic education matters in 2006 curriculum in to Islamic education and character to 2013 curriculum. The data accumulation is using two types of technic, they are: interview and documentation study. According to the result of a research, there are some description about the background of composing 2013 curriculum, it is refer to juridical changes. Background and purpose of composing 2013 curriculum is an effort to simplify and becoming thematic-integrative learning. The fundamental difference in Islamic education 2013 curriculum and 2006 curriculum laid on the name on subject matter, pass standard, contents standard, and process standard. Besides, the matter of Islamic education and character in 2013 curriculum including the thematic-integrative learning of the Koran -Hadith, Aqidah, Morality, Fiqih, History of Islam Civilization.
