Muhammad Wifaq Al Matin Darmawan, - (2024) PENGARUH LATIHAN PLYOMETRIC SINGLE LEG DAN DOUBLE LEG TERHADAP KECEPATAN SHOOTING ATLET SEPAK BOLA. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
Plyometric is a training method that combines the components of strength and speed (power) with explosive movements. One of the factors that play a role in achieving shooting is the physical condition factor of leg muscle strength, in other words, to achieve a kick there must be an element of physical condition, especially the strength of the leg muscles used to lift the thigh and reject when kicking the ball. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of single leg and double leg plyometric training on the shooting speed of football athletes. The method used in this research is experimental method. The population used was 30 people from UPI Football UKM. The sample was 30 people who were taken using the total sampling technique. The instrument in this study used a radar speed gun, then the sample was given a pretest to determine the initial state of whether there was a difference before and after treatment. The posttest results show that there is a significant effect of single leg plyometric training on the shooting speed of football athletes. There is a significant effect of double leg plyometric training on the shooting speed of football athletes. There is a significant difference in influence between single leg and double leg plyometric exercises on the shooting speed of football athletes.
