Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki latar belakang permasalahan yang terjadi terkait kemampuan bekerja sama peserta didik kelas X Kompetensi Keahlian DPIB di SMKN 5 Bandung. Permasalahan terjadi akibat pada pelaksanaan pembelajarannya masih menggunakan metode konvensional dengan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Instruction) yang di dalamnya, peran guru lebih dominan dalam menyampaikan materi tanpa banyak interaksi dengan peserta didik. Pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat dan berorientasi pada kelompok diperlukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) pada keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) berfokus pada berpikir kritis, berkolaborasi, dan berbicara di depan umum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think, Pair, and Share (TPS). Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu only post-test control group dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling terpilih dua kelas yaitu X DPIB 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X DPIB 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, berdasarkan rata-rata skor keseluruhan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik pada kelas kontrol termasuk pada kategori tingkat dasar dan pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori tingkat terlatih karena peserta didik dapat berpikir dan mengidentifikasi suatu topik pembelajaran, melakukan kegiatan diskusi dan kerjasama, serta mampu berbagi informasi. Penerapan model pembelajaran ini berhasil terlaksana dengan baik, yang tercermin dari perbedaan keterampilan kolaborasi yang signifikan pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. This research has a background in the problem of the ability to work together with class X DPIB Skills Competency students at SMKN 5 Bandung. Problems occur due to the implementation of learning still using conventional methods with a direct instruction model in which the teacher's role is more dominant in delivering material without much interaction with students. Choosing an appropriate and group-oriented learning model is needed to improve collaboration skills. This research aims to determine the implementation of the Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) cooperative learning model on students' collaboration skills. The Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) cooperative learning model focuses on critical thinking, collaboration, and public speaking. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type to determine the effect of student collaboration skills before and after implementing the Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) cooperative learning model. The research design used was only post-test control group with a purposive sampling technique, two classes was selected are X DPIB 3 as a control class and X DPIB 5 as an experimental class. The research results showed that, based on the average overall score, students' collaboration skills in the control class were included in category basic level, in the experimental class in category trained level because students can think and identify a learning topic, carry out discussion and collaboration activities, and are able to share information.. The implications of this learning model being successfully implemented are reflected in the significant differences in collaboration skills in the control and experimental classes
